2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

7.3 it is. If whatever this mystery issue is is bad enough, it may make me seriously question my decision about going with a 23. Any updates regarding this would definitely be welcome

I cant remember if my buddy from the plant said it was a valve issue(breaking valves) or a lifter issue, thats why I havent commented. I dont want to spread false information.

I have family members that work @ KTP and they are saying issues that they have seen since day one of the MY run. No word on if they will start to ship the 6.7's or not

Maybe not having my order built yet is a blessing.

DA
A positive spin. Suddenly getting pushed back in production is a blessing in disguise.

A bit of a disappointing start to a new gen Superduty.

But if FordBossMe guy is up to something with his findings, the 7.3 issue is a lot more worrying and disastrous than just the 2023 MY run. All the 20-22 Godzilla folks might have to brace for a massive failure/recall coming up.

My thoughts exactly. Ordered 1/3 and no updates yet. Maybe they shouldn't use Chinese lifters!

I ordered 12/31 and haven’t gotten anything passed the confirmation email. But I also understand I’m basically 250kth in line. I think I should have the 45 day email any day now.

Edit: just got my 45 day email.

There was something I saw on one of the Facebook groups... Someone claiming he had insider information about the plant. Supposedly, they haven't gotten the EPA approval yet for the new HO and "major issues" with the 7.3... wouldn't elaborate more than that though.
I ordered a HO motor. It’s been in production since 2-8-23. But no further progress. I’m very curious what’s going on at the plant 🤔

Got an email last night that both my orders were moved back to 4/24...both 7.3 engines.

How long did the “in production” stage take the peoples trucks who’ve already went through it? Mine went into production on 2-8 and is still showing in production today.

Mine too. Im of the opinion of you can have it right or you can have it right now. I can be patient, as long as they get it right.

I thought you would like this New 2023 Ford F350 XL w/ STX Appearance Package for $61100 on Autotrader http://atcm.co/S2PVDP/27FCEB72
This f 350 was delivered to ford dealer in beginning of the January just to be returned to ford Kentucky production plant when I called the dealer he told me that ford made mistake by releasing the truck to early but I think has something to do with 7.3 engine I ordered F 350 DRW 6.7 diesel Super cab and production started January 19 and is still showing in production last update was on February 7 and shows in Kentucky plant moved on site 🤫

Mine three.

There is a piece of information missing in these statements though. What day did it go into production? Feb 8. What day does it show as Scheduled? Mine shows "Week of Feb 16". That should be the day the body is mated to the frame. If things were normal I would expect my modules to pop late tomorrow or Friday.

Where are you in line? Look on your Window Sticker here.

In normal times my truck would be the 177th out of 247 in that batch running down the assembly line.

Scheduled last week of Jan, went into production 2/6, I don't have a window sticker or anything to show what #/Ttl #, but my vin shows the modules for it, which I am told is a positive thing.

Been in production since 1/25 here...
My guess is that they're not declaring anything "built" until OKTB. Mine was built with no holds and sent off-site, but is still listed as in production.
