No VIN yet, been almost a year

Lol. I have no clue what it means. I only know that this is a sign that they are activating all the modules on the truck. Mine didn’t have any data listed until the “in production” status. And I watched the list grow throughout that day. Now it’s like you stated, a long list. So it’s progress nonetheless.

For whats its worth you can at least try to google it.
Your truck has dozens of computer modules, operating all systems of the truck. Engine module, transmission module, body control module, amongst a few. hundreds if not thousands of different sensors monitoring everything electric/electronic. When your truck is build these modules get activated. If anything, having these modules tells you that your truck has already been build.
So mu Vin shows module information. What does that mean? Build date was Jan 27. ?I found the link on this thread. You click on module, and then enter your vin.

Did you guys add the vehicle manually with the VIN?
I added to my account when I got my VIN weeks ago, but just showed up as active today
Nothing is shipping until Ford gets the "Ok to Buy". It was supposed to happen last week, but didn't. I haven't seen anything on a new potential date. I would hope for sometime this week, but who knows. I'm getting my info from a 2023 SD facebook group. There are some guys on there that work at the plant, but they've been eerily quiet lately.Anybody out there got any info that their truck is built and fixing to ship? Asking for a friend
IMO, Ford is in such a hole with trucks spread all over, that those of us with built trucks will be in the same boat as @Big Jon was with his '22. I would love to be wrong about that.
There was something I saw on one of the Facebook groups... Someone claiming he had insider information about the plant. Supposedly, they haven't gotten the EPA approval yet for the new HO and "major issues" with the 7.3... wouldn't elaborate more than that though.

Friend of mine that works at the plant said the same thing about the 7.3 trucks. they basically idled the plant last week. with the amount of these trucks parked around the louisville,KY area, i think you guys are going to be waiting a bit. Im in the Louisville area.
Yours must be a 7.3 motor. Strangely quite a few 7.3 folks got pushed back 2 months on FB. It would be interesting to know exactly what’s wrong with 7.3 motor in the new gen. Not some rumors or speculations, but what the actual issue is.Just got word via Ford Chat that my new scheduled build date is now 4/24 from the original 2/13
7.3 it is. If whatever this mystery issue is is bad enough, it may make me seriously question my decision about going with a 23. Any updates regarding this would definitely be welcome
