2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Yeah not sure how that worked…I was on a chat with ford customer service and they said my truck was in production but also showed built ready to ship to carrier. Been in production since the 10th according to ford.ca. Modules and window sticker are all there to view but idk what the hell to get from all that. I thought maybe it was ford that had to give the ok to buy guess maybe I’m mistaken.
Mine is complete as well. Ready to ship across town to me. Maybe I can get visitation rights and go see it!

Yes a press release or anything explaining why a completed truck is not being shipped would be great!

So, are you telling me there a chance... that somebody could receive a 2023 before another person finally receives their 2022?
There are 2023 sitting on dealers lots as we speak….esp in South Mississippi…no 10 month wait for some people..🤔

Ordered a 7.3 on 1/3 and awaiting the 45 day update. Lariat Ult w/sport appearance pkg. Can anyone confirm SAP is a job 2 option? Going to delete the spray-in bed liner as that has been stated as a delay. I really don't want my truck to be sitting in a parking lot in Kentucky for months.

SAP has never been a job 2. Only BAP is job 2.

I was under the assumption that the SAP is the BAP. The option specs show it is a black out pkg.

The BAP also includes the blackout LED headlights, spray liner, and a few other things as well. That’s if they haven’t changed it from last year.

Didn't see that as an option when I did my build. Maybe someone can clarify.

We're going off what was included in the BAP for the MY22. They haven't released the BAP option for the 23s yet. Supposedly, we're suppose to get some clarification from Ford within the next 2 weeks, according to Granger, about job 2 options.

I think you worded that wrong. A better way to put it, as I understand it, is Ford RECEIVES the OKTB. They get the clearance from some regulating agency. Hopefully someone that can explain it in detail will.

To answer your question, no, I've heard nothing. I search for it and in a world of information it's akin to total radio silence on the subject.

I'm really interested as the modules on my '23 popped today.
"OKTB" is a Ford term and declared internally, although there could be a regulatory requirement pending. Even in that case, however, no outside organization provides the authority to declare completion. Typically what delays this is testing - either Ford or supplier - to satisfy the DVP (Design Verification Plan) and/or PVP (Production/Process Validation Plan).

From the pics/videos online, the BAP LEDs are not blackout like they were previously.

BAP was on like page 2 of order guide. As of this moment, you cannot add to your order. Hopefully later this month it can be added. SAP was always available to be added and was always on the build and price on Fords website.

No BAP doesn’t, still has the ugly ass chrome headlights. Look at the post I made that has a BAP truck

With that said, the SAP should not be a delay? Fingers crossed!

With the onboard scale. Did they say why they put one of the scale meters in the back tail light? Is that so police can see you’re overloaded slightly? Lol. I guess the LEDs will shine a different color when you’re overloaded. Anyway to stop that.

I don't know why they did it but I can see it being useful when loading my excavator or Scout on the flat bed. I can just drive it on and watch the taillights on the truck to see if I have the tongue load I want.
