Man Ford’s email/tracking system is horrible. Today(the 19th) they emailed me to tell me my truck should arrive between sept. 16-22. Almost here! Maybe……

So apparently Ford is having dealers hold delivering vehicles due to recalls. Here's one that may prevent delivery:

Safety Risk
AN INCORRECT REARVIEW CAMERA IMAGE CAN REDUCE THE DRIVERS VIEW OF WHAT IS BEHIND THE VEHICLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy
FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS WORKING DILIGENTLY TO PRODUCE THE MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATES FOR THIS REPAIR. WHEN THE SOFTWARE UPDATES BECOME AVAILABLE, FORD MOTOR COMPANY WILL NOTIFY YOU VIA MAIL TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR DEALER FOR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED FREE OF CHARGE PARTS AND LABOR. This is odd... All week long when I go to order tracking screen I'm not able to pull my window sticker, but when I go to the direct link it pulls up. On the top it shows I'm 301 out of 1902, so I'm pretty early in the run. I'm surprised that I haven't gotten built yet and its making me wonder if the order tracking system isn't syncing or if KTP has been focused on building Expeditions and Navigators and will get to Super Duties at the end of the week (although I thought the trucks have their own production line separate from the SUVs).

Also, this week I'm getting an error on the Motorcraft website when putting the vin number there. It used to show the screen for the modules (with no data), now it doesn't even load a result.

I couldn't get my window sticker with anything other than the direct link from the tracker either.
As far as Motorcraft, I know that people constantly have errors with it. Maybe give it a few hours and try again?

Truck is home to DC and only missing one mirror lol… today we hit the tropical storm and with only 100mi left on a 1450mi journey, a semi swerved left of center just as I was passing him and took out my right mirror.

Thankfully, there was no body damage, and the mirror just has cracked parts and missing glass.

On a brighter note, our dealer posted their video today!

Those retractable steps were money well spent. Y’all can see for yourself how much my wife loved them
