Mine has said it was in production since last Wednesday. No updates yet. I reached out to Ford chat and they said I have a build day of Friday, 9/15. So, I wouldn't get to excited just yet. With the UAW strike, I wouldn't get any hopes up until there's a deal.

I was scheduled for production the week of September 4. On August 29, the tracker changed to "In Production" but there was never a date put at the top for in production. On September 6 the date at the top appeared on the tracker for "In Production" and then it shipped on September 8. I saw on another site that when the tracker changes to "In Production", that means they are gathering pieces and putting small things together but when the date on the tracker actually changes to "In Production" is when they begin building the truck. Not sure if this is right but, that is what happened with my build.
That may be the case. I did get the Window Sticker last night. Unfortunately...the scheduled build date shifted from 9/18 to 9/25 this morning. I'm sure that has something to do with the current UAW negotiations.
Except the Teamsters are following UAW workers and striking as well. Those trucks are going to be built and then never will get shipped until after this mess is settled.
My understanding of this was that the Teamsters would not cross picket lines, not necessarily be striking themselves, i.e. this would only be the case in those locations where the actual UAW strikes are occurring. May not be the case, but just how I interpreted it from what I have seen shared.
I hope you are correct. I have a super duty on a train headed for San Antonio which will then need to be transported about 60 miles to my dealer for me to pick up. It would be nice to finally get this truck.

Consider this... The unions supporting each plant likely have clauses in their contracts related to not crossing picket lines that would protect those employees from disciplinary action or termination in those cases. Keep in mind that for the locations where the UAW is on strike, for the other unions, their employees are not going to receive strike pay. They will likely take the time unpaid which has a huge financial impact for those individuals. The company would likely not allow (unless it is in the contract) the use of paid time off during this period. They also may not be eligible for unemployment insurance during this period since not crossing the picket lines is a voluntary action by the union.
So it would be highly unusual for the Teamsters or employees represented by other unions at KTP (or other locations that are not on strike) to stop working while the UAW employees continue to work.

Like @marine_wi said if you don’t feel like waiting the stealership I used just put the tremor I ordered on their website with a cool 10k markup. Since they wanted to charge me 5k adm.

I have been searching everywhere to find a Tremor in stock and all that I have found they want MSRP or 5-10k more than MSRP. I just ordered a couple weeks ago with X-plan and am realizing I may as well settle into a long wait. I looked at the GMC AT4 and it just seems like all the Chevys I owned......Boring and cheap. One thing that concerns me is the transmissions in these trucks. Also I pull a skidsteer on regular basis and at about 15k I know I should have done the more practical thing and just went with a FX4 but I would have wanted bigger tires anyways. The lack of rear sway bar and smaller front sway bar I will probably have to address in the future. I plan on keeping this and keeping my 2006 bulletproofed f350 6.0 service body as a beater/backup.
Please don’t take this the wrong way but if you are going to wait for something less then MSRP you could end up paying the same or more in the future. Interest rates are still going up , the 24’s will be a tad more expensive -and maybe even more once strike is settled with labor possibly going up 20-40% and that’s even if your order even gets picked up -your dealer might not get many tremor allocations.
If you find a good dealer they will sell you what you want for msrp then have fun and enjoy it IMO - because by the time yours comes in I’m pretty sure x plan will be gone - most to all dealerships are eliminating it. As long as the unemployed rate is where it’s at- these trucks will sell .
In the next several months when your x plan tremor comes in throw dirt in my face and I’ll definitely give you kudos. It’s just my view and you are probably a lot more fiscally responsibly successful than I am !! If you want something and you can afford it - go get it an enjoy it now.
You make some valid points. It does seem like a gamble that my dealer will even get the truck in and they are a smaller dealership in Lewiston ID. For now I'm going to let the order ride and keep looking. Saving around 6k would be worth the wait to me if it really shows up! We are entering a historically very good time to invest in Bitcoin so buying the truck now is second on my priority list. If it goes down and hits my price targets I may put some of that money to work and try to turn a profit before the truck comes in. Having money sit idol for who knows how long with interest chewing away at it scares me.
