2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Well it finally happened today. Took delivery today. Had fair commitments for the kids FFA so the accessories that I purchased aren’t being installed until Wednesday. So as it sits F350 carbonized gray lariat ultimate.

Ford will be installing:
Front Wheel Well covers
RetraxXP (Ford)
Leveling Kit
Timbren springs
Ford floor mats
Ford pivot toolboxes

Saturday full ceramic coat

How long should a truck be "in production"? Mine has been there since 08/17. I'm not freaking out or anything, just curious. Seems like most of those I remember went from "in production" to built in a couple of days or so. None of my modules have populated either.

mine took a month.

I had 3 items that are considered "off site" and im guessing I waited in line for each item.

I got front and rear fender liners and splash guards but I can't believe that takes more than an hour or two to install. Then again if they have to ship it across country to install then I guess it could take a while, but shouldn't the modules populate first?
I didn't get any bedliner, I'll do that locally.

wheel well liners and splash guards. I think all 3 are done "off site" and my guess is you get in line for each one separate. Hence why my truck was "in production" for a month.

no clue on the modules, I didnt give a shit about them.

"off site" is literally still on the property, just not on the main production line.

And you arent wrong that most things only take maybe an hour to do, probably less, but if you are #2836 in line to get wheel well liners done, it takes a while to get into the que... then you go back out to the next line for the splash guards and you are #1985, so again, takes a bit to get worked through the que...

Thats just my guess on how the shit show works.

I know this is just a Lariat Tremor but it will be available in the next few weeks as it is in the build stages now if anyone is interested. I am taking possession of the same truck but in an FX4 because I need the truck yesterday. This one will be about an hour and a half northeast of Kansas City in Maryville, Missouri at Tri State Ford.

97% of the union workers have voted in favor to give the union leaders the power to call a strike. The contract expires September 14th at 11:59 pm, so the union leaders could call a strike September 15th. I would be concerned about build quality being worse than it already is through this time frame.

That sucks. I also have a scheduled build week for first week of September... I might get my truck but build quality might be poor?
