2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Not correct. Premium trims come standard with MC, max recline can be added. And in the case of my limited, it comes standard with both. Had MC been deleted by ford via option code 91X, I would’ve cancelled too. Not paying more for less and not accepting a $300 credit on a $2000 option.

What is not correct exactly? Even if MC is deleted, it does not effect max recline, if the order had it added.

So MC and MR are not mutually exclusive. You can get both.
Correct. I would call them independent options. You can have one, the other, both or neither depending on the trim level. Mutually exclusive to me would mean you can't have both, but that is not the case.

Having gone from a MY22 Lariat Ultimate to a MY23 Platinum with MCS (not a Tremor) I will say the Platinum seats are much more comfortable before even using the MCS features. The Platinum does come with quite a bit more options than the Lariat but it really comes down to the differences that matter to you. https://www.ford.com/trucks/super-d...250lariat|f-250platinum&intcmp=modselect-comp

If you really want the MCS option there are folks buying the parts for around $700 and converting their seats themselves.

I don't have the time, patience or skill to retrofit the seats. Current '22 Plat is at 22K miles so I'll buy the ESP to 100K and 5 years then order a 24 later this year.

Just thinking a late model year Plat with MC delete is going to loose value pretty quick. '22 was $88K with no deletes and '23 is $100K with MC delete. Coupled with a much higher interest rate I just don't have the warm and fuzzies for this truck. I'll see what the offer is when the truck is at the dealership, they might make a great offer to take the truck or not. Regardless I'm not paying MSRP for it.

We are buying a new Cat 325 Next Gen trackhoe this year with full auto GPS so I don't need the depreciation of buying the '23 and it wouldn't be that much $$ benefit on our taxes.

Dude, when MC starts showing up again, everyone with the delete is gonna get hosed. Doesn’t matter what the books say, buyers will look elsewhere.

My truck went into production this past week, though it wasn't supposed to go until this coming week. No modules have populated yet, but I did get my WS. I'm just a lowly Lariat Ultimate, not a KR, Platinum or Limited.

Should look at a Deere 245P with full SmartGrade rig up. I know a guy…. 😂😂😂

Well your truck is pretty much the same in my eyes as far as spec's go with my '23 Plat order that has MC delete and your truck is $6K cheaper.

What are you guys putting on for non-plastic mudflaps? Really like the gatorback kickbacks but apparently they don't make ones that fit tremors without drilling.

Hard disagree. My '22 has it, and my '23 that's coming does not. It's not a dealbreaker to me. It would be nice to have, sure, and the $300 credit is kinda BS.

But at the end of the day, there's a ton of nice features and advantages of moving to the new truck. If it's the right mix of engine options, colors, etc, MC isn't something I'm going to blow up the deal over, and I assume most rational people wouldn't either.

I had the massaging seats in my 2017, I don't miss them at all and to consider them as being a non-starter is silly, but to each his own.

I get a laugh every time someone is talking about these massage seats seriously, like i don’t want this truck anymore if it doesn’t have them seriously.

LRH, MB, and alpoba,
My comment has nothing to do with your purchase decision. Rather, I’m talking about buyer preferences on the resale market. All things otherwise comparable, 24 platinum with all the options will sell for more than a 23 delete every time.

I keep my vehicles for a long time so, I don’t often consider resale. But for the number of folks here unloading a 22 for a 23, I would say it should be a factor in their decisions.

Laugh at my comment, ignore it, take it for what it is; an opinion on the internet, IDGAS. I’m just putting it out there as something to consider.

Yep - seriously one right here. I'll keep my '22 Plat with no deletes and order a '24.

@Van B listen, to each their own; i for one would skip on ANY truck if it didn’t have roof clearance lights from factory, yep that 95$ option is all it would take, some will probably get a laugh out of that as i get a laugh every time someone mentions a massage on a Superduty.

Yep I can't stand the roof clearance lights. Each to their own. :p

On that we agree.

Quick story you guys might enjoy:

My first super duty was a 97 F-250 XLT… Original Body Style, not old body style lol…
I bought it in 2000 and the left hip on the seat was blown out already, just like they all were after two weeks of being sat in. I was racing motorcycles back then so I spent a lot of time in that truck, healthy on Thursday and beat up on Sunday. My choice was being a sore ass from sitting on the metal frame or sitting offset and tweaking my back.

Then several years later, I bought a 2001 F-250 XL with a 5-speed… yup vinyl bench seat.
That rattle box on wheels would have a seat heater on high in the summer, and full freezer mode in the winter. And in either case you had to peel yourself off of it.

I loved both of those trucks and what they could do. But then the ‘01 got stolen and was used to run drugs for about a week… it was toast.

So, I bought this diesel Touareg when VW was allowed to sell off the last of their new US diesel inventory. This fine german beast makes as much HP and torque as my 97 and has the most comfortable interior in any car I’ve owned.

So, for me, if Ford is gonna sell me another truck at today’s prices, that MF’r better feel like the lobby of a waldorf astoria because I can’t go back to the way it was anymore lol!!:ROFLMAO:
