2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I'll disagree. Not because I don't believe that's what they told you, as I was told the same thing in late April or early May for the '23 in my possession, but because a few days after being told that, Ford Chat gave me the railcar number. This is a different truck.

The phone people at Ford always gave me a line when I spoke with them. The only exception was one guy who was from The Bronx. He and I just shot the shit (mostly about the Dodgers and Yankees) and I learned a lot. His information checked out.
You called it - I did the Ford chat and they provided the rail car number immediately. Literally copy and pasted the entire row from their system into the chat. It checked out as well via CSX's tracking system. Thanks for the info about the Ford chat. That may be the way to go for others who want their rail car number. Also don't make the mistake I did and initially start the chat with the Canadian support team lol. They actually told me I could get the car via the US's chat lol

The rail car number I originally got from US Ford Chat was TTGX700800. the Canadians tried to give it to me but it didn't work on CSX Tracking. The Canadian # was TehTehGehXeh7eh0eh0eh8eh0eh0eh.

Lariat Ultimate were Job 1 trucks... now how many were built as Job 1 is a different story. Only trucks that were Job 2 were KR, Platinum and Limited as well as black appearance package and a few other things.

I confirm that this is correct. My Lariat Ultimate was a job 1 build and I took delivery of it on June 9th.

Stopped by my dealer today to talk to the GM... they're not happy with how Ford has been handling production this year. They're a top 100 dealer and don't know why my order hasn't been picked up by the factory as they don't give priority 10 out to many, have the allocation, and there's presently nothing constraining my order. They're hopeful that Ford will produce more high-end trims for the remaining 3.5 months, but acknowledged that it will be particularly tough for anyone wanting a Limited.

Even though I have ordered the max recline seats, they had to add the multi-contour seat removal to my order, so I get a $300 discount while not giving anything up. Can't complain about that. @marine_wi wonder if Granger will need to make this change to your order as well.

I've already discussed with the dealer that if they find anything else in my order will be removed by Ford to move it to priority code 99 and we'll try again with a MY24. They said they'll get me the MY24 order guide when they receive it, so I can share it with the community if it doesn't get posted elsewhere first. My dealer expects that job 2 for MY24 will come quickly as they are not expecting any significant changes for the next model year, which should allow the factory to hit the ground running. Hopefully that means we might see job 2 for MY24 before the end of the calendar year.

What chatting with my sales guy afterwards and he commented that they (again a top 100 dealer) are only getting 1 unit allocated to them for a Ranger Raptor. I'd expect Ford could sell tens of thousands of these, but looks like they're going to make them a pretty limited option in 24.

Hey man. Granger said that dealerships shouldn't have to do anything to the orders. Ford will automatically remove the massaging seats on 6/20.

Granger said pretty much the same thing regarding Ford and how they're handling orders now. I'm still hopeful to receive my truck this year but I'm prepared to order a 24.

Received the email yesterday that my F350 Lariat Ult Tremor w/ BAP/max-recline seats/scales/etc. is being built week of July 17. WOOHOO!!!

Question:
With the max-recline seats, does that automatically remove the multicontour seats? Are they mutually exclusive? Here is my build off the Ford order tracking site. Other than that I am very excited. Even the scales w/ Tremor looks good.

Max Recline Seats are a different option from the Multi-contour seats (aka massage seats). The max recline don't have a massage feature, but are bigger and supposed to be more comfortable.

I laughed way too hard at this. Reminded me of the South Park episode where the teacher is teaching the students the Canadian alphabet.

Edit: change students to adults who were "intolerant" of Canadians 🤣

Your Lariat never had multi-contour seats. They are King Ranch and above. The max recline is a completely different option.

Got her home and loved the ride. I averaged just over 17MPG even with traffic going through Olympia and Seattle. The heads up display is absolutely awesome and did not even need to look at the instrument display. It is going to take some getting used to all the features but I have to say, I really like it so far. Right now the ODO has 175 miles. The only negative thing is that the dashcam did not come in on time so I will need to go back to get it installed, most likely head down around the end of the month.
