Unbelievable, absolutely looks awesome. Congrats!!

Congrats on completion! Seeing all the time, effort, and added costs you guys (AU) have to go through to get a solid truck is crazy. In the US we just have to wait 3-4 mths for an order and we loose our minds!

Lots of paperwork in getting the car registered. Here’s some of it. Gives an idea of some idea of things that are done in re-manufacturing

It’s a cool, wet Tuesday morning. The sun has risen but you wouldn’t know it for the clouds. Hopefully, by the time the sun sets the Tremor will have arrived.

I spoke to the truck driver bringing it from Melbourne to Brisbane yesterday afternoon. He’d already arrived in Brisbane and was not far from the holding yard. He had two other super duty’s on his B Double, and commented that the canopy made my truck look a lot longer than the other 2 without canopies. I think judging by the photos that it does appear that way.

I then rang the other truck driver bringing it from Brisbane to my place. He will collect it from the holding yard mid to late morning today. He has 3 vehicles to deliver. I am 3-4 hours from Brisbane, so I won’t see it till mid to late afternoon. He has one delivery about an hours drive north of me, then mine and another here in my town.

So it’s just a case of being patient. Next Tuesday I have to drive about 60 kms into NSW to get it inspected and registered. Then drive back home and start running up the k’s.

Congrats!

Congratulations! I can’t wait to hear your first impressions.

RHD conversion is $30k USD.

Also they have to pay a pretty hefty import/customs fee, I believe 15% of the worth of the vehicle. Converted Super Duties with low miles in Australia are selling for $200k AUD, so even after going through all of that work with the imports and conversion, you could stand to make a profit if you sold.
This sounds

This sounds about as easy as trying to import an LC 79 to the states. If anyone knows the trick, Im all ears.

Some photos of the steering setup in my Tremor. As I am not very familiar with the original setup, I’ll leave it for others to dissect. Obviously the steering box is on the right side, but how the rest of the setup compares and how you would put a steering stabiliser upgrade in is at this stage beyond me.

Does this mean your Right Door now has the Key Hole ..?

No. Not that it really matters with PIN numbers and remotes.
Congrats Pompey I’ve been a tad busy of late and haven’t checked in a while. Truck looks awesome mate and hope you are impressed with it as I am!!!
Inagreee the 4wd and trailer back up in drivers side is much better details though I don’t use it that often really to worry me lucky I have long arms 🤣

I’m reading you struggles with communication mine was much the same as your experience I think the whole covid and shutdowns are a bit to blame but still doesn’t take much to keep your customers updated does it?

I was also going to say your welcome to get your truck delivered Tommy house and collect from there but then realised that was a month ago and you have it all sorted.

I had to get me truck wheel alignment Re done as it was still set for opposite camber in the states but I was also thinking 💭 f the steering stabilizers would work for us! I am keen to add a 4inch lift to the truck too and 37’s

Keep in touch and be sure to keep sharing your findings

Also where did you find the spare tremor wheels was it tough trucks ?
Yes. They source their trucks through Performax. have you dealt with them? Were you looking for another spare?

The cops will love you if you go for a 4 inch lift won’t they? Are you going to get flares for your guards? I imagine they’d stick out otherwise. I was looking at getting some flares from tough trucks but have gone cold on the idea now.
