I decided to order the Fumoto drain valve and install it at my first oil change. It is advertised to have a 60% larger drain valve for faster oil changes. The 6.7 oil drain plug and filter location make oil changes pretty easy and straight forward. (pic). The clear tubing will make it a bit easier to fill waste oil container.
When traveling out west and pulling our TT it will just be a bit easier to change the oil, vs going to a dealer.??
Here a list of what I ordered in case anyone is interested-

These scare me. I’ll just turn my bolt every oil change.

I’m considering going this route as well. Thanks for the list. Do us a favor and let us know how you like it after a change or two. ???

You bet. I think @Warpath also runs the Fumoto valve as well. They have been around a long long time and used in industrial applications as well. ??

I do on all my vehicles. They make a messy job super easy. Saves a little time too.

This thread was a good reminder that I need to get it ordered for my 7.3. Happy to have a drain plug again that I can swap out....My raptor, mustang, and continental all had that yellow plastic garbage. (Replaced it with a recon set up, but not as good as the Fumoto...)

Ran these on the last 5 Super Duties. Love them and will definitely put on one my 2021. Now, if the oil filter was no mess that would be great.
Texmudder just cut a gal milk jug leaving the handle portion on, unscrew the filter inside the jug and let that old filter drop right in the jug. This works Brother. ????

I have a diesel tractor that has one, it works fine very easy.

when you pull the drain plug out there can be a ton of pressure and the oil will splatter all over. Like a crime scene on "Dexter".

The added tubing will control that.

Yes, a great product. I have them on my cars, makes life that much easier.

Put one on my truck a few weeks ago also. Liked the idea so much I bought one for all my vehicles

Sure, once I do my first oil change I will post a pic. Decided to wait until I hit 5k and a little warmer day. If you look at your oil pan drain port post#1, the valve will not stick down at all. It threads in and sticks straight back. ??

I looked on there website and nothing listed for the 7.3 yet. The year selector only goes to 2017.
