Yeah manuals have a place in a vehicle like a Jeep or Bronco for sure. Maybe a Tacoma, they’re just not strong enough to a Superduty truck, at least in the trucks we buy. You could argue it in a sports car too, but they’re without question slower but if you aren’t a race car driver they’re a lot more fun.

That Bronco looks like it’s going to be pretty awesome.. can’t wait to see it! Still hard to get used to a tiny 4-cyl turbo in a vehicle like that. I guess I’d better start.

You're right, the auto is stronger now, but in the past, manuals could hold their own in the strength department compared to autos. The big issue was the clutch. People just didn't know how to use one correctly. With multiple speeds and proper clutch feathering, you could achieve full function in most any condition. I drove manuals all my life until the Tremor. Couldn't get it since it wasn't available anymore. The manual in IMO, is a lot more fun to drive. Just not as quick in the shifting department.

Funny story, I took my 99 XLT in a few years ago for a leaky main seal replacement and the only person in the shop that could pull it into the maintenance port was the receptionist.

Initially my plan was to replace both the honeycomb grill and the color matched mirror caps with BAP pieces. But over the next 4 months of ownership and at one point standing side by side next to a 23 BAP tremor i concluded that i actually liked both of these pieces offered with SAP better than the ones which came with BAP. The front blue emblem i couldn’t take so at first i stickered it and then replaced it with a BAP emblem. It’s all comes down to personal preference and the good thing is it’s very easy to swap these silly decoration pieces if one changes his mind down the road.

Light gray cloth especially. Personally I'd prob feel differently if it were black cloth or a woven nylon or neoprene or something. I've never understood why any work truck would be designed w/a light color interior...even in a luxury vehicle they show wear and dirt way more than a dark interior. Every used HD truck w cloth I looked at when shopping was gross af on the inside.

Agree with you on the work truck aspect. I had my 99 for 22 years, light gray cloth seats, and they looked great when I sold it, no rips or tears. I took care of them and used seat covers when out and about. But you're right, most every other truck I saw (when researching the going price) was trashed. edit: (Bench seat, not "them".)
