Man it’s been since April!!! All the pheasants must have flown the coop for summer.

Pretty quiet out here on the east coast, HOT HOT HOT…. Worlds a little crazy right now so we’re staying tucked in safe. Once the weather breaks and things cool down we will be back out exploring!

No XLT, just a semi dormant Lariat. Been a great day today in the Sierras, temperature got down to 95 degrees today (high) with cloud cover. A cooling trend!! Worked in the yard all day. Almost time to sit back and enjoy the evening outside tonight. Stay cool!

Love it! It's cooler today too at 106°. I'm so happy . We actually had rain for 15 minutes last night.

@Canyon Trekker @Optimus you guys are happy with 95 and 106 respectively. What has the world come to! I’m happy at 68 and low humidity anything higher than that and i’m miserable, like now, it’s a wet sauna in NJ.

Mid 80’s here this week. Not bad honestly, it was a lot hotter a week ago.

Nice weekend here, planted some trees so they’re going to need daily watering for sure.

Water…. Yeah about 20% of the entire world’s fresh water supply flows by me.. we got water. I love the west but humans can’t live without water, one of the reasons I tolerate this place.

Funny you say that; my yard work today consisted of removing dead or dying tree branches that are less than 6 feet from the ground. The ground is basically dirt and weeds (chopped up) weeds that I cleared a month ago. All to prevent fires from propagating should something in the area start burning. It's a unique place to live alright. And a fun time is had by all.

When I lived in the east many moons ago, we were next to Lake Erie. As a kid, I remember so many water features. I miss that out here, but the mountains make up for it most of the year. Rivers and streams everywhere with the snow runoff.

I have many memories of summer nights in Vegas were you wish for wind to stop blowing because it was warmer than the still air. It feels like standing in a convection oven!

I’d say an xlt is the best way to get them because you can build it up aftermarket the exact way you want it with what you want cheaper than what you could order from ford.
