8lb pork butt, Cattlemens blackened seasoning, 250 degrees. Would have started last night but it would have been too cold. Once shredded I'll freeze it and have plenty of pulled pork for the refueling outage coming up soon at work.

Nice. I miss those days! Well nights for me. I always did nights always leak rate. Crawled around some amazing places. I’m not sad I left, I worked with some amazing people. I was an operator so the rotating 12’s was tough on my family but besides that what a great job.

Unfortunately I was off when the shift swaps happened so I'm stuck on days with all the "helpful" observers. On the bright side I'm signing on in the control room everyday so that'll be different. After the Pork butt I have to do a chicken carcass rice soup then I should be stocked up for food.

I don't, but I assume he meant when they change rods they all have to be in lockdown until the job is done so they can't leave to get better food than the cafeteria? Figured he was a nuclear plant operator of some kind and I imagine they have some heightened security with the radioactive material being shuffled around? I don't know, just guessing mostly making fun of the "name calling" in this day and age
