X2 Batteries

On my '22 my factory flooded battery shit the bed in the first year. I'm already at 18 months with my '24 and zero issues with the dual AGMs. So I would say they are definitely better but still not sure how long they will last

I keep hearing that the oem battery’s suck but my truck has AGM batteries. Do they still suck or do the newer truck have better batteries?

They don't suck, until they suck. Then you get on the internet and bitch about them. At which time, they suck....:-)

Makes sense

Sooo you’re saying because the batteries are clean and shinny they lasted longer 🤔
Yes. It shows that the user is conscientious about keeping their stuff clean and probably well maintained. And yes, dirt and grime is not good for a battery, especially around the point of connection. Dirt, salt, and acid can leach into the connections and begin corrosion. Even an AGM will vent under extreme conditions.

I hope not. I got 6 years out of my old FLA in the 2015. If the factory AGMs last even 4 years I’ll be happy.
Note, I do hook them up to a charger/ tender if it sits for a week or more.
