99% Isopropyl alcohol, or maybe even Sprayway glass cleaner.

Have you tried the Bosch Icons on any vehicle? That's what I run.
Thanks... I had ordered the Focus blades as they seemed like slightly upgraded versions of the Icons. Maybe I should have gone that route to begin with given the reviews the Icons have, but thought I was picking the better blade. Guess I was wrong on that.

I'm going to give the PIAAs a try first and see how those go before considering the Icons.

Has anyone on here used these?

They pop up in my Instagram feed periodically and I was curious whether they are any good.

I tried icons and they sucked horribly after 3 months, after that I tried rainx truck and suv so far so good they’ve been on there several months probably close to a year now

I never tried Icons when I lived in the snow/salt/rustbelt.

Honestly I don’t remember what time of year it was when I had them on it could’ve been winter time I called to bitch and they sent me a new set that are still sitting in the garage as spares lol next time I may just save myself some aggravation and order oem ones I got a year out of my stock wipers I’d call that good that’s about what I’d expect out of a wiper

For sure! Worth noting for any brand of blades, having clean glass is a must. Clay bar/polishing for best results.

I installed new Bosch Focus wiper blades in June as I was getting a little bit of blade skipping from the OEM blades (despite them being less than 1 year old). The Bosch Focus blades are supposed to be their best blades. I used them yesterday for the first rain I've driven through and while they operated fine the couple of times I used them to wipe a little moisture off the windshield or to use wiper fluid to clean off some dust, they failed miserably yesterday. As I was hours from home and had to drive in rain for about 3+ hours, I had no choice but to keep using this wiper blade. They skipped horribly continuously (despite it being a pretty steady rain) on the windshield and have left black scuff marks along the A-pillar on the drive side, in the middle of the windshield where the passenger blade ends its arc and on the passenger side about 1/4 of the way through that arc.

Anyone know the best way to get the scuff marks off? I'll be pretty peeved if this has left permanent marks on my windshield.

My wife wondered if the Bosch blades were defective. They do have a warranty, but unsure if I want to go two rounds with these crappy blades. Ordered the PIAAs and hope they'll be better.
I'm more than a little surprised by this. Is it possible you were sold counterfeits?

I put Bosch Icons on my other vehicles (Tremor still too new to need blades) last fall and find them... ok. Not exceptional, just ok. They are holding up well, but so did the OEM Toyota and Ford blades and I actually think those worked just a bit better for the first 12 months at least.

I'll be price checking and experimenting with various things over the next few years. If I can buy commodity non premium blades cheap enough, like Michelins or whatever they sell at Costco and they work well for at least a year, swapping every fall might be better bang for the buck. I'll keep an eye on parts counter OEM blade prices as well.

Unfortunately, I bought the blades from Advance Auto Parts (a fairly sizable chain store in my area), so would be surprised if they were fakes. They were new in the Bosch retail packaging. I think they're either just genrally crap blades or I got a bad set.

Yep that's what I ended up doing... OEM blades.

My PIAA's have lasted over 2 years now with NO streaking. Granted, I never try to wipe ice or heavy bug goo, and I re-silicone the windshield every 6 months or so....

The factory wiper blades on my 2024 truck are horrible. This reminds me that I should run out this afternoon and get some Bosch Icons before a road trip tomorrow. I have had good luck with those on many other vehicles. I am not sure they last as long as others, but they seem to work well when new.

I had the factory replace the wipers about a year ago on one of the recalls and they literally disintegrated a few days ago. The hot sun here destroys wiper blades, and you don't know until you get into the upper country with light rain, or go to use the cleaner solution, to figure it out. I'm just glad the wiper edge separated from the rest of the rubber and didn't cause metal on glass contact before I could get them changed. I put Icon's on this time. Time will tell how long they last.

Funny how different people have such drastically different experience with what should be the same product. Of course, there could be multiple suppliers for the different model years... I wouldn't be shocked to find out they were resourced as a cost save in 23 or 24.

Or as @Canyon Trekker said, could be location, too. My truck sits outside and my original wipers made it 2.5yrs. Low annual mileage, however.

Anybody try the black edition blades? Want to order a set but am on the fence.

Or it could be a runing change or just inconsistent quality. Maybe it was the freezing rain storm that I drove through coming home from Granger that killed them. The ones on my 2022 truck are fine. The 2024 truck now has Icons.

And the icons I bought from recommendations from the F’ers on here jkjk, were hot garbage wasted close to $60 to last 3 months actually less than that 3 months was when I got pissed enough to rip them off. Since oem has started using I-beam blades every vehicle I’ve bought new (several) the oems have lasted about a year, also have had good luck with rain-x blades would like to try piaa si-tech but a little gun shy after the icon epic fail

Followed the link and also checked Amazon and at either place, they seem to sell for within a buck or two of the price of Bosch Icons.
Given that and @Devenhallen 's positive recommendation, I'll likely give them a try when my Tremor needs new blades, barring new evidence to the contrary.
