What’s in your gun safe?

Great gun. P365 with a Radian comp and Icarus full sized grip has been my summer gun and the gun I carry in my gym bag in case someone tries to steal my next set. The RAMM Tactical trigger takes that platform to the next level. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend it.
I have 3 P365 FCUs and all three have a Ramm trigger in it. I'm not a fan of the Icarus grip, I prefer ECM, but otherwise agree with you.

I have one with a Ramjet, but in a class it kept biting me when manipulating the slide, so I went another route. Norsso bull barrel with ports:

When my wife shot these at the range, I made a comment about how she was flinching. Her response was "if I shot at someone with this, and missed, they'd think they got shot from the concussive blast in the general vicinity" which is probably true. The ramjet isn't as bad, but the Norsso flutters the eye lids.

My Scar always prefers 185 for anything at range.
With the 1:17 twist, have you seen any issues at distance? These seem like the poor barrel would struggle to stabilize. I have 100 of them to test out, if I can hit steel with some degree of consistency, they might be a winner.

For my carry gun I run a stock Sig 365 x macro nothing modified with Hornady critical defense ammo.
I never understood why officers can carry modified firearms but normies cannot. I know several cops that carry custom 2011s, Glocks, etc and don't seem to worry about it.

Yeah, they need to modify that back edge. It’s razor sharp. I actually nerfed mine down with a dremel just a bit and then recoated it. Helped quite a bit, but shouldn’t be necessary. Unfortunately, in the land of commiefornia, they are about the only comp you can legally run on a pistol.

I have never been one of those guys with the patience or mathematical acumen to shoot distance. Distance for me is 500 meters. It’s counter intuitive, but for whatever reason, my particular rifle couldn’t keep 175’s any tighter than 4” groups at 100 yards. The 185’s I could at least pull off 2.5” groups.

It’s agency by agency. Mine had a pretty liberal policy. Had to be 9mm, 40 or 45, by a reputable manufacturer and had to pass a safety inspection by a department armorer. Any mods had to be approved and installed by the range armorer and you had to qualify with it. On the other end, I had CHP officers in my dope until that could only carry the department issued S&W and they couldn’t even add weapon light.

What do mean by normies can’t modify their guns? Are you talking about specific laws in your area, because in my county, you can pretty much run whatever you want.

You can modify yours but you might get some extra questions from the DA or something if it’s tac’d out along the lines of “were you looking for a fight?” I’ve heard of thing happening but never experienced. I’ve experienced the wait time while your firearm is being held for evidence. Mine was stolen and recovered and they kept it for use as evidence to press charges so I had to wait until this dude was literally in prison before they would release it. In homicide, justified or not it might never be released. Think it depends on your locale more than anything

Reading this thread first reinforces my gratitude to those of you who have fought wars and crime, and those that continue to do so.

It also makes me feel fortunate. I like to hunt, use firearms for pest control, and enjoy a little recreational shooting too. But largely I’ve gone through life not being concerned about getting into a big time gunfight or if I’m carrying enough firepower and ammo.
