🛠️ What did you do to your Tremor today? [2025 edition]

Well, finally got the truck aligned after doing the lift level. I thought it was just the crown of the road....that's what I get for thinking. Now all's well again.

Also replaced my broken Weathertech stone and bug deflector with their low-profile tape-on unit since it broke 4mos into having it on. Lifetime warranty came into play for free replacement.

Installed Boost Auto tow mirror lights smoked lens, switch back with startup sequence.
Lessons learned:
Take a IPad or whatever tablet suits your fancy and have their install video
right there while you’re doing the install – found it useful to play/pause for each step of install
When removing upper glass, the BLIS is actually disconnected at the base of the sensor – there is a small tab on the connector that has to be pressed in to have connector release – see pictures
BLIS_Connector.webpBLIS_Connection.webp
On my 2024 the top cap and rear casing did not separate, remove the 5 7mm release the trim tabs for the top cap then use trim tools to separate the casing and cap from mirror.
DriverSide_Casing.webpPassegerSide_Casing.webp
Be careful with the puddle lights, the passenger side has another connector at the bottom of the casing so I didn’t remove the puddle light – just put the Boost marker light in the casing and reseated the casing
PassegerSide_Casing.webp
The FWIW file
  • Use two trim tools – one thin and the other thicker to separate the casing from the mirror
  • Didn’t use power tool to remove/install the 7mm bolts as these are going into plastic housings didn’t want to strip out anything – yeah I know it’s old school back in the day kinda sh—🤪
  • Once install is complete adjust mirrors then store them in memory
Finsihed product looks great best of all still have all my fingers and didn't break a mirror 🥃

I didn’t want to tap into oem headlight harnesses like the Husky instructions called for and instead opted for a plug and play limitless auto harness that gets running and turn signals. Removed the wheel well liner partially to get to the plug. A bit of a pain to reach with all the harnesses running through there. One side a day is all work and kids will allow. Passenger side turn signal tomorrow.

Installed Putco Blade lightbar. Fully plug and play. Running lights, brake lights, turn signals, hazards, reverse white light. Has been sitting since black friday, i got it at 55% off on Ford Parts with coupons and cash back. I might move oem dually light under the license plate, still thinking of a good location for it.

Hey bud , new to the site . Interested in the blade light bar . Where did you find it ? I have a 2024 diesel white tremor and haven’t added anything to it yet. I’m wanting to start adding some easy plug and play items . Thanks.

Don’t know what it is since I bought this truck 2.5 months ago, but seems like it’s a magnet for having people cut me off or not pay attention to the fact that I’m there. So, I finally installed my FITCAMX front and rear dashcam (was a breeze)
I also got the lettering for my aero skin applied, and the weather was finally nice enough over the weekend to give it a good wash/wax by hand for the first time ever
you're driving too slow
1st sign
anyone able to cut you off
yep
driving too slow
2nd sign
they didn't see me behind or beside them
again
driving too slow
😂🤣😂🤣😂

I'm 90% sure they'll fit based on the pictures alone. Look at the footprint of the Juggernaut bracket next to the BR panel cutout. At most, there might be some very minor trimming on the lower edge of the opening of the BR panels. I'm buying with confidence.

Juggernaut responded to my inquiry regarding BuiltRight fitment. It appears they won't work (according to several pics I sent them from this forum). Maybe with some slight modification but at this time, it'll need some redesigning.

Also, they're interested in doing a group buy and will get back to me. They're very nice people and acknowledged the inconsistency of their product (red vs. green tabs, black vs. whatever finish that is, etc). They will improve over time and maybe we'll help them out in the future.

You can pick them up right off the Putco website...

Yes its on the outside I added a pic of the exact one I bought, great product to work with no soap water solution needed had no air bubbles round corners are a bit tricky just keep your heat gun close. Yes that is my wheel setup Ill get some pics tonight
I really tried my best and had the heat gun close by, no luck! It looks ok from about 15-20 ft back!

Maby try a local shop that does window tint, they might do wraps as well and can do that for you. This is hard to get right if you don’t do it all the time. I had a chrome tailgate handle on my truck, I stopped by a local window tint shop, they wrapped it black for $20. Worth a try…

Give it several days and allow the sun to smooth it out. Hit it with the heat gun again too. If that doesn't help, well, you can always do it over! And what he ☝🏻 said.

Thank you for reaching out to them. Sounds like they confirmed some trimming is necessary. Likely due to clearance on the bottom edge of the BR panels when the ratchet mount pivots. I’ll post pictures of how much trimming is necessary once I get mine done.

Plugs and wires done today. Didn't have any previous history found stating that it was done anytime recently and they look old. Plug numbers that came out are CYFS12YT5 and the new are 12YT6. Anyone know when they cut out the T5 plugs?

Also Tons wires as the OEM was almost 3x at the dealer than what these cost so I'll try em out.

193k klms. That's a 2020 Plug wire number too, from what I can find. She did good!

I ordered the same pads already. Never use drilled rotors. The heat can cause micro fractures at the drill holes. Slotted or dimpled only. This is from extensive testing in autocross racing.
I've got the drilled and slotted on my slightly hopped up Caddy and not had a problem with them after 45K miles, I am a lot harder on the Caddy brakes, but it is lighter and a hell of lot faster than this block wall.

I've got about 1500 miles on the truck since I installed them and the brake dust is not showing up like the OEM pads that is for sure.
