Was just outside looking at this - remember, I had 1 night with the truck prior to removing/installing the Boost ones. I did turn on the factory ones to blast in my sons face. Lol. I feel like they’re very close to the same brightness as clear. But without some measurement device, that’s a very subjective analysis. I don’t know how to be more helpful with this. If there’s an objective way to measure this, I’d be happy to try and accomplish that. Please let me know on the boost auto parts spotlight
How hard was it to pop the mirror glass off without breaking them? Have seen videos on how to do it.Was just outside looking at this - remember, I had 1 night with the truck prior to removing/installing the Boost ones. The spotlight is about the same. I changed the puddle lights as well since I was doing the switch back. Hopefully this pic helps. Sorry for jumping on your thread OP.@Vecman Can you share how bright the mirror spotlights are with the smoked lens Boost Auto Parts mirror mod? I'm sure it's not as bright as the OEM clear lens but wanted some kind of honest comparison.
I eventually want to DIY smoke my cab lights as well to avoid the Recon cab light issues.

Honestly, popping the top mirror was hard. The boost auto video isn’t the same as the 22, and the A-rod PowerStroke tech guy had a good video on it, but his popped off so easy. It didn’t pop off as easy as he made it look, and that part to me was one of the hardest parts. Everything else came off easy. You don’t have to take off the top mirror motor assembly. You do have to take off the bottom mirror bracket though. Reassembly was a pain also. It was easier once I realized to leave off the bottom puddle lights until after the mirror was back together. I am super glad I did it, but I’m glad it’s overHow hard was the install/removing mirror glass and bits?
If you want to do that, I’m totally down. But I truly think it’s very very close to the clear versionHow hard was it to pop the mirror glass off without breaking them? Have seen videos on how to do it.
To measure the light output, there's some cheap lux meters on Amazon for $30, but that's asking too much. I'd have to buy one, measure what mine are stock, and then mail you the meter for you to test yours.
I like the XLT mirror caps too that you did. The blackout package ones look like a chocolate covered icecream cone for some reason.Honestly, popping the top mirror was hard. Yeah, I love the mirror just looking all as one piece. I think it’s much better aesthetically. So if you’re gonna do the caps or the side lights, definitely do it all at once. I never want to disassemble those again if I don’t have toI like the XLT mirror caps too that you did. The blackout package ones look like a chocolate covered icecream cone for some reason.
Agreed. I don't like doing jobs twice either. Thankfully the XLT mirror caps are a cheap $ part from Ford direct.Yeah, I love the mirror just looking all as one piece. Oh, it looks like you just need to paint your front hubs now to match![]()

Just perfect. Not too much not too little. And axles are nicely tucked in too.View attachment 41917Here’s a stock tremor (on the right) next to mine when I picked her up. Gives a good height comparison of stock vs. Carli 3.5” on 37s

Saw that you have the same tires that I eventually want to get.Agreed!
Thank you! That's absolutely perfect. Now I know what offset I need (+6) I didn't want them sticking out and flinging rocks at other cars.View attachment 41920View attachment 41921Wheels: Black Rhino Axle 18x9.5 +6 offset, 5.5inch backspace.

I think they look and fit perfectly.
