I didn’t know that. I haven’t bought a super duty since 2010 and it had film on it. Do you know if a ‘22 Platinum Tremor F350 will come with ANY window tinting other than the rear glass? My sticker says “tinted rear glass” but doesn’t mention anything about door glass or any other tinting.

I don’t believe there is any on the front doors, windshield, or sunroof.

How’s the paint holding up? I’m about to do the same.

The paint is holding up well. I will repaint them the every time I rotate my tires, so I am not too worried if they get scratched or faded.

Curious about your tinting - did you add the ceramic tint (in the percentages you mentioned) to the factory tinting or did you have the factory tinting removed and then replaced with ceramic tint?

I want my truck fully ceramic tinted and would have preferred to order my ‘22 without any tint; because removing tint is just another charge. When I configured the truck I didn’t see any option to leave tint off the glass. I’m still waiting to take delivery of my new truck but the window sticker shows privacy glass on the rear and the generic images make it look like they come with tinting on the side glass as well. Bummer.

The other replies are correct. The dark glass on the rear doors and rear widow are not tint, but rather colored glass which is for looks only. It cannot be removed and I do not think you can order a new truck without it.

My truck had front tint from the dealer which was removed by the ceramic tint installer. He did not charge me anything to remove it. So to confirm, I had them install 20% over the colored glass in the rear and 35% over the factory clear glass on the front two side windows.

nice truck...got the same coming ist of july,,,same color....if all you going to do is mild offroading did you consider the commuter vs the back country ? im get the 7.3 so back country wasnt ava for the 7.3 . Any how...you got some $$$$ poured into that ride....Enjoy....

I considered the Commuter, but decided to go with the BC for the Fox Remote Reservoir shocks. It rides great on the road when empty and towing, and also performs well off road.

As I mentioned, the front side windows do not come with any tint or colored glass from Ford. Your dealer might add it, like mine did, but it is fairly easy for an experienced installer to remove.

Gotcha. That’s perfect. I had another truck fully tinted with 98% heat rejecting ceramic and it was more than $250 just to remove the old tint. I bought it used, though. I just didn’t want to have to pay to remove some cheap film because it’s already so expensive to put that high end ceramic all the way around a SD. I really appreciate you clearing it up for me! That ceramic tint is life changing here in southern Texas. Once I found out how effective it is, I put it on ALL our vehicles.

I have not posted on this thread in quite a while, but I have been adding items to my truck as needed. I bought a Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel camper, so I needed a hitch for my truck. The camper has the Reese Goose Box Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box, so I needed a Gooseneck Ball. I chose the B&W Turnover Ball hitch, so I can hide the connections under my bedrug when I am not towing.

The Goose Box is fantastic for saving weight in the bed because the 4" offset ball (not pictured) only weighs about 10 lbs compared to the 280+ lbs of the Companion Slider hitch I was considering. When I get to where I am camping, I pull the Gooseneck ball out of the bed, and I can use the bed as normal when needed.

I also added a TransferFlow 50-gallon auxiliary tank into my bed to give me a total of 84 gallons when towing. (More on that in the next post)

After buying the new 5th wheel, which is 42' long and 13-6" tall, I decided I wanted to make sure I always had plenty of diesel when towing, so I added a Transfer Flow 50-gallon in-bed auxiliary tank to my truck. This gives me a total of 84 gallons, which is way more diesel than I will ever use in a single day when towing. I will pull my camper to the next campground, unhook and fill-up for the next day, so I never have to stop for gas when towing. This gives me a lot more flexibility when buying diesel at the cheapest price and for where we stop on the road.

To make it easier to add diesel to the aux tank, I added an Amp Research step right next to the tank on the outside of the bed. I like the looks of the Amp Bed Step a lot more than then hole in the side of the 2023 Super Duty Trucks. It flips down further and is pretty much out of the way when it is not being used.

I liked the Amp Bed Step so much, I ordered the bumper step to make it easier to get in and out of the bed when I am hooked up to the 5th wheel and I cannot lower my tailgate step.

Hi ! I am new to this stuff & after reading your posts I think you all could give me a good answer on what I want to do, I have a 2022 f-350 Reg cab 8' box. I want to put a 2.5 " leval kit on the front & would like to put 35 x 12.5 R18 BF Goodrich AT k2o on my factory rims would they fit? It looks like the same size which comes on the tremor Pkg. witch are the same rims just painted black do you see anything I am missing

Exceptional clean look! Good job. I hate clutter and things just wherever. I really like the gooseneck instead of the 5th wheel approach. Leaves you more room with or without the trailer in tow.

Check the BF Goodrich website for the wheel widths they support for the tire you want. As far as I know, they recommend a 9”-11” rim for a 12.5” wide tire, and the factory wheels on a Tremor are only 8” wide.

Some folks on this forum have done it, but places like Discount Tire will not install an oversized tire on a factory wheel that does not meet the tire mfg specs for liability purposes. However, they will gladly sell you a set of wider wheels…

EDIT:

I checked the BF Goodrich website and the narrowest rim width they recommend for the 35 x 12.5 18R tire is 8.5”. If your wheel is the same as the Tremor, you will need a wider width to meet their specification.

I agree! I was considering adding the Goose Box hitch to whatever 5th wheel I bought, but luckily the one I found already had it installed. It saved me money on the Goose Box pin box and the ball for my bed was way cheaper then the companion slider hitch.

Can you tell me where you found the bambi mode at? I searched for it in forscan and ended up trying to do it in the "code" page... still didn't work. I've even watched videos on SD 250's and 350's (not Tremors) and it doesn't appear on my list like theirs.

I watched videos of SD F350s in many years except the 23 Tremor, my screen was different from any of them on the videos. I'll have to get it again and look around and take screen shots this next time.
