just wondering what drove the need to add air bags ? Were anticipating some sag from the rv or what ?

The first time I towed with a 1650 lb TW, the truck sagged 2” to just below level. I added the airbags to get back to 1” of rake when towing. With 25 lbs psi in my airbags and 1500 lb Blue Ox WDH spring bars, the truck rides very comfortably.

EDIT: By comfortable ride, I mean no more purposing over dips in the road and not too stiff for the back seat passengers during a 4200+ mile trip to Yellowstone and back.

I have had great success with Fuel wheels. I had Fuel Trophy's on my Gen 2 Raptor for 3+ years and now, the Zephyrs for almost a year on my Tremor. One of the main reasons I went with Fuel over Methods is the finish on the wheels. On my Gen 1 Raptor, I had Methods and Grabber Red Letter tires. Unfortunately, the finish on the Method wheels started to look gray and dingy after 2 years. I kept the truck for almost 8 years and they looked pretty bad when I sold it. The first thing the new buyer did was replace the wheels.

My Fuel Trophy's looked as good after 3.5 years on my Gen 2 as the day I put them on. My Zephyrs also look great 1 year later with no fading of the paint and no noticeable scratches. The Zephyrs are a little hard to clean with all of the crevices and holes, but once I painted the front and rear hubs to match, they look excellent without caps.

Was there any particular reason you picked a high heat paint to paint the hubs or it just happened to be the best color match for zephyrs as you stated above?

I wanted a good enamel paint and this one was the closest color match. I know my rear tires are heating up when towing based on the large psi increase, but the hubs are not approaching 500 degrees.

I added the Dometic CCF-T Console Refrigerator to my truck over the weekend. I paid $455 for the fridge when they were having their Memorial Day sale, but the price is back to $599.

It fits perfectly in the console and you cannot hear it running over the sound of the 6.7L engine. It holds two 6-packs of cans on top of each other or six bottles of water with about 2" of room above them. It gets down to 40-50F in 90 minutes and takes about 4 hours to get down to 32 degrees. You can set Forscan to leave your Power Point in the console on for up to 8 hours after turning off the truck.

I am going to set mine at 6 hours because I discovered the fridge will kill a single battery in about 10 hours. (See my testing in the thread below)

I had my Air Lift Airbags and on-board Wireless One compressor installed yesterday. I will post more of the details in another thread, but I wanted to add my pictures here as well.

I have not towed with them yet, but the truck rides the same with them at their default setting of 5 PSI. I will use them to add some rake back to the truck when towing my TT.

I had a question about how much the ADD Stealth Fighter bumper blocks the front camera. Since there does not seem to be a way to post pictures in a DM, I am going to add them here for anyone else who might be interested. One of my main goals was to make the truck very comfortable on the highway when towing my 7000 lb Travel Trailer. I will do some very mild off road driving, but nothing too crazy in an 8000+ lb truck. I also wanted to blackout every possible item on the exterior, so the truck is only Gray and Black, while preserving the factory headlights and taillights for maximum visibility.

Curious about your tinting - did you add the ceramic tint (in the percentages you mentioned) to the factory tinting or did you have the factory tinting removed and then replaced with ceramic tint?

I want my truck fully ceramic tinted and would have preferred to order my ‘22 without any tint; because removing tint is just another charge. When I configured the truck I didn’t see any option to leave tint off the glass. I’m still waiting to take delivery of my new truck but the window sticker shows privacy glass on the rear and the generic images make it look like they come with tinting on the side glass as well. Bummer.

I didn’t know that. I haven’t bought a super duty since 2010 and it had film on it. Do you know if a ‘22 Platinum Tremor F350 will come with ANY window tinting other than the rear glass? My sticker says “tinted rear glass” but doesn’t mention anything about door glass or any other tinting.

nice truck...got the same coming ist of july,,,same color....if all you going to do is mild offroading did you consider the commuter vs the back country ? im get the 7.3 so back country wasnt ava for the 7.3 . Any how...you got some $$$$ poured into that ride....Enjoy....
