We drove 7700 miles from Tacoma to Cape Cod, down to Assateague Island, Maryland, then to Yellowstone and back home. 6 weeks and everyone was in good spirits. This shot was from Assateague. The 7.3 gasser did great except for the aftermarket spark plug wire issue. We love our Jayco Eagle HT 264BHOK. Perfect for our little family.

Not too heavy still within payload. And added bags just to be safe. I’ve seen a few in my area and have a friend that got one too just a little different setup. Since he has a seat rzr and mine is a 4 seat.

Here is ours with my old tow rig. Grand Design Momentum 21G. I think we are 7500 dry with a GVW of 10k on the trailer. 100 gallons of fresh water, 30 gallons of fuel and a 4kW generator. Plus I’m running 270Ah of lithium with a 1500W inverter for the TV and such. We boondock almost exclusively. Believe it or not, the 3.5 Ecoboost towed it wonderfully we just needed to upgrade.

Worth the weight and she is a big girl to tow. 110 gallons of fresh water, 300 plus solar built into roof, oversized 80 gallon propane tanks, onboard Onan propane generator. These suckas are heavy duty and bad ass. Off grid clamping at its finest.

Have not weighed it yet but forums post around 1500-1600. I got 4 6volt golf cart batteries stuffed in the tongue so maybe a little more for mine. Using a Blue Ox sway pro 2000 and still tweaking a bit but about got it dialed in. I know it’s back there for sure. Did not hardly notice our 24 footer at about 7500 pounds but this one is about 33 nose to tail and over 10K. I wanted a little smaller but happy wife happy life

First tow with the tremor went very well, we knew one day we would want to upgrade campers so that was one of the reasons for upgrading the truck….. the wife is already looking at 5th wheels haha

It’s been a while since my last post on this subject but here it goes, made a few updates and changes to the Open Range Light Fifth Wheel to get it to ride level with the Tremor, first off I did a 1-1/2” drop to the rear Tremor Suspension and added air bags, one size up on trailer tires, new spring equalizers and hanger wet bolt kit and to finish it off a 2” block lift for the trailer axels. Next step was a trip from San Antonio to Ruidoso New Mexico for a week then Marathon Texas for a night then back to San Antonio, awesome first trip of the year. Next month off to Port Arkansas Texas for a week to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday!
