Well shit... this thread has me worried. I'm waiting on a F350 Platinum with almost every option. The toy hauler I just bought has a 3k LBs hitch weight. I know adding my side by side (1500lbs) will reduce some of the hitch weight but idk how much.

Mine is not a Plat, but a fairly loaded Lariat. Depending one how you get things balanced/weighted in the TH and what else you have in the truck, you may be pushing it. My payload is 3686.

I agree. Some guys with the 6.7 and 5th wheel are saying 3167ish payload

curious if anyone has weighed their rv with a rzr in it and what, if any, is the reduction in pin weight....I'll be loading my toyhauler with everything in the garage but water :)

Typical rule of thumb for fifth wheel pin weight is 20-25% of GVWR. All that crap adds up!
The trailer is 14k dry and GVWR is 16,800. However the hitch weight is 3k

My weight pin weight is 2960 on a cat scale.
thats my trailer all loaded with the electric golf cart in the garage and everything my wife owns.
Attached is the documented weights for my trailer specifically from Grand design

My golf cart seems to take about 100lbs off the pin of my toy hauler.

edit: actually I should say, loading the garage heavy takes about 100lbs off the front. That includes my golf cart and everything else my wife owns
I spoke with the toy hauler builder and my side by side will take about 400lbs off the pin weight

I also have a ton of stuff in the front of the toy hauler. Including the Cummins generator. Having stuff in the garage definitely helps lessen the pin weight

Can you also upload a copy of your window sticker? Curious to see all the options.
Sorry for delay....life.

Here’s my sticker. I wanted to keep it pretty basic. My last truck was a F150 Lariat and I didn’t use much of the options. Didn’t want the 10000GVWR, but it was a compromise vs waiting to order.

I thought 10k GVWR is the max for the F250 7.3, so I don't think you missed out there.

That's just what I remember from seeing various window stickers, though.

Interesting. I’ll have to reread through some of this. I thought that was a derate from higher (10600-10800?) for registration purposes. But I’m learning as I go so I’ll have to recheck.

Happy with what I got though!

I think the max GVWR for tremors are:

F250 7.3 - 10k
F250 6.7 - 10.8k

F350 7.3 - 11.3k
F350 6.7 - 11.5k

But that's my own recollection, and I don't know if there's an authoritative source on this.
