Thinking about selling..

Gorgeous truck. I’ll be the bearer of bad news though. I think if you get an offer even remotely close to $70K you better take it and run. Honestly I think $60k is still going to take a minute to sell. The used market has completely tanked. I’d say $65-68K is doable if you're patient and find the right buyer.

Just monday when Alumiduty posted on their page I received multiple offers, several serious and several laughable. I was offered by multiple people $67k, one at $69k. But after a firm discussion at home I chose to take the truck off the market. But again I'm NOT hard up to sell it was just a thought. If it took a year I wouldn't be upset.

I agree with @TRAMPER. I wouldnt sell it. You may have regerts b/c what you built would cost a LOT to get back. Get a decent DD thats easy on fuel and keep that well-built rig you've put together.

IF you do end up selling it... for the love of blue ovals please pull them lights off and sell them separately. There's plenty of guys that would take them off you for more than you'll ever get with them attached to the truck.
@TRAMPER

I do have a daily driver, so that's why if I was still serious about selling I wouldn't be in any rush to do so. But I chose not to sell it due to the fact that it will be paid off by the end of the year, and it's in perfect condition. I just had a stick up my ass for wanting something different, now I have a foot up my ass from the other half when I even mentioned selling the truck.

As the title states, thinking about selling my 2020 F-250 Lariat Tremor, fully loaded with BAP, Adaptive Steering, Adaptive Cruise, Pano Roof, 5th Wheel Package, Cab Lights, Etc. I just don't drive it enough, and the fun of driving it has kinda dissipated. I spend a lot of time in LA traffic, and as you all know it's not the most nimble vehicle in the land of Tesla's and Prius assholes on the 101 and 405 Freeways. I originally got this truck to Offroad, Tow my boat and potentially get a 5th wheel. I don't think the 5th wheels is in the cards anytime soon.

What do you think I could list it for? It has 66,000 Miles on it, but still looks and drives like brand new.

Mods:

Carli 3.5" Leveling, fully option'd E-Venture Lift
Toyo 38" M/T
18" Innov8 G600 Polished Wheels
ADD Mole Panel
Built Right Bed Panels
GJ Motor Sports 3rd Breaklight with BD S2
OnBoard Air with train horn
Factory Aftermarket Light Bar with 5 LP9's
Factory Warn Winch
Dometic Console Fridge
AFE Power CAI
Retrax XR Bed Cover

I was thinking around 75-80K? Does that sound too high? To low?

I was thinking about going to a Bronco or Bronco Raptor.

It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay, you can ask whatever you feel is right. Market is soft right now with huge discounts on new as inventory isn’t moving fast enough. I saw ram discounting 2500s up to 15k off msrp

Jeez the way you were complaining about “Tesla’s and Prius’s” on the 101 you sure made it sound like you needed a commuter. You only gave us half the story! Turns out you just wanted a new toy! If you said that to start with I would have said do it!!!! In truth keeping the combo you have now is ideal. Those Bronco Raptors are cool but not worth even close to MSRP in my opinion. I had a Tesla Model Y before the Lightning and only changed to the Lightning because with the camper in my bed I missed have access to a truck. The MY like your MachE was a great commuter. All my charging at work is free though so really I don’t lose anything with the Lightnings efficiency.

Quitter.
😜

I understand getting the itch for new. I was on a 3 year pattern - but not with this truck. Do what makes your kickstand tingle. I’m sure you can get great money for the truck - maybe try bring a trailer.

Bronco raptors do look sweet but crash ratings are horrible. Not sure I would get one due to that.

Yeah, bring a trailer is definitely another possibly money hole. I have to steer clear of it because it just makes me want to buy EVERYTHING they have 🤣

@modified im good with the post being deleted since Im keeping the truck lol

Got my ass chewed out for even bringing it up at home.. lol so the truck stays for a while longer. @WakeZilla I'm not desperate to take to caravana or carmax. Their offer would be insulting even for a stock truck, let alone a full optioned modified truck.
I would never suggest you actually sell to Carvana or Carmax, it's just a great place on-line to quickly get a read on a low end baseline of value. Glad you are keeping the truck, "Happy wife is a happy life".

I’ve gone back and forth on getting a Raptor or an F-150 Platinum. I mainly rationalize this and say I don’t daily the Tremor nor do I ever tow anything that I HAVE to have a 3/4 ton truck.

One thing that quickly puts me back into reality is My Tremor is paid for, it’s a a platinum and it is paid for. I see sticker prices today and can’t imagine a world where an F-150 is more than my loaded SuperDuty was in 2022.

Oh and towing a car with a 3/4 truck is a dream for sure.

@bbrett Im with you and been there but you made a good choice.

HD’s are just built better, honestly I have no real need for a 3/4 ton truck either but seems like half tons are just built like shit anymore I had an 18 raptor briefly it was a giant pos it was in the dealers shop more than I had it

Agreed. Had a few Raptors. Ecoboost was shit. 6.2 was pretty bulletproof.

Honestly the major majority of the problems with that truck were unrelated to the engine but I also only kept it a little over a year and a large chunk of that time it was at the dealer shop so there may have been engine problems with more miles, I can’t really ever see buying a half ton again but if I did the only one out there now I would even consider would be that new Ram RHO

I disagree. I think they should keep it up so you and others will never make the same mistake again! 🤪

Yea, @TX03RUBI the market is flooded now, there are no delays generally speaking on getting what you want. A 2020 won't have Sync 4 which for me and other's I know was a huge selling point. Even my '22 is at a disadvantage now since I dont have any of the new fancy gizmos on the '23+ only saving grace is I don't have that new front end :p #blessed
That 20-22 front end makes it worth millions compared to the 23+. 👍🏽
