That's the plan, I want to get out to more places than I did before. I only made it to Moab with the last one.
 
A little Glamis sandbox play time last weekend, before the crazy Halloween crowd came in!!! Dune Season is officially open! Moving into the sand for the next 4 months!! Hahahaha 🤷🤪🤣

Was riding with my son the other day with 4 hours on the new 2025 Husky TE300 and putting along the dirt bike died on me and now won't restart. It turns over will almost start with a little throttle but sound like it bugs it and shuts right off. Thinking maybe a fouled plug already going to pick one up today and swap it out to see any other ideas or have this experience. I checked the gas cap the vent hose from it all looks good has oil in it etc. I have always let the bikes warm up until the radiator is warm to the touch.

The fuel pump pickup sits pretty high in the tank on these bikes for whatever reason. If you have less than a half tank or so and haven't been riding hard enough for fuel to slosh up there, top it off and see if it fires.

I'd be surprised if it was a fouled plug already, but certainly possible. Do you use the high idle switch to warm it up? I don't idle mine for more than 2-3 minutes on high idle and even then it loads up a bit. I always wring it out for a few seconds in 2nd-3rd gear to clear it and then it's fine. The white map runs a little fatter for softer throttle response. In my experience, running the green map will help prevent it from loading up during sustained low speed/RPM riding.

Final thought - these bikes will die right at the 5 hour mark if the dealership forgot to "activate" the bike's computer when the paperwork was completed. It's a theft prevention measure. Allows for test rides but good luck stealing one. Might be worth a call to the dealership just to double check.

I do use the high idle switch to warm it up for 2-3 min before I take off haven't been ripping at all as I've only really ridden with my son. A couple hard pulls here and there. It's got a tad over 3/4 tank fresh 94 ethanol free from sunoco. Just pulled the plug here's a pic. looks like I'm only at 2.9 hours thought i had a little more than i do. Also what a stupid design to get a spark plug out having to pull the gas tank off. I'll give the dealer a call to make sure that was computer was activated and I've been running it on the green map since I bought it

Put a new plug in and it started right up, I went with a slightly hotter plug since I've been lucky to even get into second gear riding with my son it's really putting along. Hoping since it's hotter that the shit won't build up and foul it again. Guess we'll see.

Good call on the hotter plug. I just wring mine out once in a while when I'm riding with the kids to keep it from loading up. A little over 30hrs on the original plug now. Ran into a guy on the trails a few months ago that said he had almost 100hrs on the original plug in his 300 XC-W.

Not sure if this is 100% true, but the dealership where I got mine said the bike will run rich for the first few hours as part of the break-in strategy in the ECU. That may have played a role in yours fouling so soon. I spent the first few hours riding mine hard to seat the rings, so that may be why mine didn't foul.

Honda CRF300L, piped/tuned, K-Tech shock/spring on the rear, still want to do the forks. Have a RaceTech Gold Valve kit + a supplemental fork spring to install. Changed out the bars and grips.

Returning rider. 70 yrs old now. Rode for decades in my youth both off- and onroad. Wanted a small displacement machine for it's lighter weight. When I tip over on the trail I wanna be able to pick it back up, see.
