Yes been there as well a few times. Usually stay in kanab and ride that area.
I'm running a 2022 Polaris Ranger Northstar crew. Love that thing. Clears snow, hauls out deer and elk and has heat and a/c. I'm old ans do like some comfort...

Waiting on the Krx long travel and rugged radios install...shoulda just waited for the H2 to come out Lol. Hopefully this thing is fast enough to be fun in the desert out here
Super Charger or turbo it. I am waiting on the H2 just incase it's a "Game Changer". Once it comes out I will bet I end up with a Mav R.

I think the kawi's are a little better built than Mav's but we'll have to see how this H2 does otherwise. It'd be nice if the live valve had an oh shit button like the polaris does

Voodoo Riders in Huricane picked up my machine, installed the cage and returned the machine to the dealership in St George in just over an hour. The cage was already built but I am beyond stoked on their work and service.

Still waiting on rugged but we're on the home stretch - whips, rocklights, assault / baja mirrors, assault fender extensions, dynojet all sitting in the garage waiting for the machine. full baja light package coming too. just in time for it to be 112° out but i don't even care at this point lol been a long couple months
I went with a Polaris General XP4 1000. Very happy. We have it at our place in Baja and go on rides weekly with our friends down there that have the whole gambit of different rides. Yea, the Can Am Mavericks are pretty dam fast, but not a one of them has gone anywhere we couldn't. Since we're litterally on part of the Baja 1000 route we drive it regularly and it's usually the destination; with lunch, drinks, swimming and hanging out with friends that's most important, not ever a full-out bonzi run to get there. I have the 4 seater which I'd do again and we use very frequently. I also use the rear bed with a shell cover 100 % of the time and keep chairs and our pickleball gear in it.

Nice view! Yeah true what you said, some of my buddies have xp4 1000 polaris, they might not be as fast but they can definitely reach the same trails and places i can with my Mav X3... On a side note I had a blast this past Father's weekend (Happy Father's day to all you fellas) hitting the dunes on the California Coast Pismo Beach, Oceano Dunes... here are some shots of the rigs and the Tremor chilling on the beach

Is the reliability of those Chinese CF Moto SxS bad? I’ve seen quite a few reviews saying they are reliable and hold up well, but I’d love to hear from people here that may have had them or driven them. Can’t beat the features/price, but if they are repair money pits, then that’s a problem
Im not sure about their reliability, but one of my buddy's friend bought one and he's had it for about a year or so and it's holding up good and I think we abuse our cars, they are not crappy any means at least for what I can tell, but again I dont ride it all the time so I dont know... you definitely seem to get alot of bang for your buck that's for sure

To be honest for what I've seen with most SxS they only take a crap if you abuse them, like I said, the guys i ride with we are always breaking something but is became we like to push the boundaries which is not always good, so we break axles, pop cvt belts like crazy, break clutches, so i think as long you're not out there trying to wreck stuff you should be fine with a CF Moto
I know a guy with one of their SxS's and one of their ATV's, but he has no frame of reference in regards to other brands. He's always looking to save a buck, so I wasn't surprised when he chose to buy CF Moto without looking at or considering anything else. So far, his have held up well, but he doesn't hammer on things.

The guys I know with CF MOTO 1000 are quite happy. Older guys, so no super hard use.
CF Build Quality looks to be very good.
MVI does a fair amount of work on Kawi sxs' for guys. Adding Winches, lights, compressors, wiring updates, etc. So I have some experience in this field.
I wont say CF is the same as Kawi, but it is impressive at their price point
[EDIT] Hell at $13K , MVI might get one as a test mule for the shop
