Screwed up the odb port!

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Gotta connect to that bare wire! It’s the instrument panel ground wire.

solder and heat shrink.

If you have the proper depin tools you can do that, but you'll need to find the correct pin to crimp onto a replacement wire.

I just broke a wire similarly when I was installing the heated steering wheel harness. I couldn't find the proper pin so I ended up buying the whole female plug with the wires and pins removed the pin I needed and then sodered and heat shrunk them together to fix my mistake. This was my oops ripped the wire right out of the pin I was trying to depin without the proper tools

No my own stupidity! Installing Amp boards and cut wires that only needed to be tapped. Working too fast without thinking. Now I pay the price!
