Good stuff brother! like I said I used mine without an issue already, but the way you did yours looks way better without a doubt.... I'm definitely gonna improve mine now i might as well do both sides since I'm gonna be doing them now... and this is why we do these types of posting, so we make life easier for the next guy!I did! What kind of fairlead and link?
What's this plug for? Did you extend the wired connector for the winch remote controller?I did! Angle grinder then die grinder then a fine file. It's smooth!
That goes to both my battery charger and block heater. When I'm not using the one for the block heater I cap it off (insert shameless product endorsementWhat's this plug for? Did you extend the wired connector for the winch remote controller?
Oh yeah...I wanted something a little more recessed and not have it hanging off the hooks. To each their ownWhat kind of fairlead and link?

Yeah...I was going for a cleaner look....almost like you didn't know it was there. I think the rope sticks out farther! Thanks for the link brother I also wanted something like this, so I bought the agency 6 fairlead i installed it and stepped back to get a better look at it installed, I walked right back to the truck and took it back offit was hideous, I been driving around with it hanging from the hook for now but i wanted something different and I'm digging this one alot.... does it stick out pass the bumper by alot? That's the reason why I didn't like the one i bought because it was sticking out too much like sore thumb!

I was initially on the fence being from Amazon and not a readily known brand name but now that it's on ... it's EXACTLY the look I was going forDamm that's pretty sick looking! That's what I'm talking about I'm getting it! Lol! Thanks for the link brother!

Good stuff! I like giving unknown brands a fair shot... I'm not the name brand jump on the band wagon type guy, I like things that are build right and perform well and are fully functional even if they come from Amazon...I was initially on the fence being from Amazon and not a readily known brand name but now that it's on ... it's EXACTLY the look I was going for

Going to use my buddy's plasma table to cut 1/4" off tonight. We'll see how the install goes, thanks for this info!So I finished the install. The directions that they supply absolutely sucked. I have a 22 Diesel and the mount did not fit originally. Spent may hours on the phone and emailing pictures back and forth with Rough Country. The sent me out a new mounting kit. Unfortunately it was identical. I decided to give it a shot and used a bandsaw to trim 3/4 of an inch off of the winch mounting bracket the repainted the plate. With the 3/4” removed I was able to successfully get the witch mount and winch installed. I didn’t have to drill any new holes just trim off the top. Also I probably could have just cut off 1/4” and it would have worked. I hope this helps.
Did you buy an old mount? Shouldn't need to cut anything anymore.Going to use my buddy's plasma table to cut 1/4" off tonight. We'll see how the install goes, thanks for this info!
Yup! Like @ trmrzla said you don't need to cut anything on the mount.... that was before but Rough Country fixed the issue and now you do not need to modify that anymore it will fit without an issueGoing to use my buddy's plasma table to cut 1/4" off tonight. Can't imagine why you couldn't. I think the only issue might be the winch clutch handle. Depends on which winch you go with.I'm days away from pulling the trigger on 40s instead of 38s with my lift and winch install. Has anyone used bumper spacers or can anyone see why this hidden winch setup wouldn't work with bumper spacers?
