Why steel instead of aluminum? Really like my aluminum weigh safe due to its weight and because it won't rust.
Aluminum Weigh Safe hitch receivers DO NOT allow the use of a pintle attachment in their aluminum hitches and only in there steel hitches. Based on youtube videos of people that use aluminum hitches a lot over time the holes seem to wallow out a bit. This might be why Weigh Safe says the pintle attachment is only good on their steel hitch receiver. Even though I've never used a pintle trailer before, I like the ability to be able use a trailer of this type if I need to without dropping hundreds more on another hitch receiver.
