Updated December 2023 CSX Railcar tracker speed dial - for me more options were available on the automated service, so additional speed dial characters were required to make it work.

What does it mean when the tracking says your rail car has been placed “on customer location”? It arrived in memohis yesterday early morning and then the message changed to the above last night.

It is at the location where it will be unloaded. (Maybe here 35.0908442751, -89.9792534156.)

Keep tracking it. When this changes to something else (picked up, departed, I forget) that means the railcar is actually unloaded.

You were right. It just changed to “emptied and released by customer”. Now hopefully it will quickly find a vehicle transporter.
