One Up Offroad feedback

Umm not even close to the same. And let’s be honest, that suspension is second rate to many of the trucks that don’t make any super duty suspension.

Honest question - what are the specific "second rate" areas?

How do you find installers in your area with experience installing One Up Off-road?

There are a few shops in TX - call/message OUO and they can share a list based on your location. Where in TX are you?

I’m leaning Carli but OUO could be a good option too

How is the Ride with the Carli Shocks?
Personally I like the ride now. Shocks are tough as everyone has an opinion and it varies greatly from person to another. The combo of current parts is great. Only other thing I'm considering is the torsion sway bar

here is my experience with OUO...
very informative, answers all questions.
product, however, was somewhat janky. I only got the the radius arm drops. to me, it felt like the hardware was cobbled together and not very well thought out. I ended up not even using it and sourced my own hardware and crush sleeves for the install. I was surprised crush sleeves were not included when other companies include them. brackets were good though
Hey there, help me understand the problem you were having. All of the hardware is grade 8 bolts with sliver grade C Top Lock nuts so you can use an impact on them. Grade C is equivalent to Grade 8. There is even a tab nut for deep in the frame. The radius arms drop brackets have 4 points of frame contact and and were not intended to have a crush sleeve. Not sure where or why a crush sleeve would be used on a radius arm drop. Side bolts are 3/4" and the rear frame bolt is 5/8". All of the hardware comes bagged separately, its not thrown in a big bag. There is a full packing list of all of the hardware included. Yes these brackets are 2 piece so that you can be sure the rear gusset fits the frame perfectly. I have not seen a more detailed, over built, easy to install radius arm drop. Could you post a photo so we can see how your install looks. Dave

old style drops, used on a '20. these new drops look to be much better

Ah yes, we listened and found a way to deal with Fords frame tolerances. We updated that part also to make them easier to install and lock in to the frame better. Now it has more clearance for the older larger radius arms from 2005.

I’m running OUO 4.5/5.5” steady track with their adjustable 3 link radius arms and torx traction bars, and their 2.0 resi shocks. They are the best for the super duty’s. I had carli on the truck before and wish I never bought that over hyped junk. If you have any questions you can PM. I also had OUO 7-9” steady track kit on my 2017 F350 I had.
What wheel and tire size you running on that?

Beautiful. I am about to get a 24 and want to do the same thing. Will 38 toyo MT fit withouut any trouble? Rubbing? What size wheel and tire and offset you have here. It's perfect.

I wanted to update this. I spoke with Dan from Carli the other day for a while. He reached out to me to see if he could help. He had some great insight and is a wealth of knowledge for HD suspension. Ultimately I came to the conclusion that the OUO set up will fit my wants and needs better.
So I have a complete OUO 4-5" set up on order for as soon as Dave and the boys finish getting all the new parts figured out. I will pair this with a set of 38s on 20s.
Hope to have everything in a few weeks
Now that you've been running OUO, what is your feedback? You have pics of your rig?

What are you thoughts about the kit after driving it for awhile, what do you like and what don't you like about it? Thanks
Suspension: Stock to Stock, 2023 is exceptionally smooth compared to the 2020, even a bit soft but very stable.

Modifications:

Went with One UP Off-Road Steady Track High Mount Steering Stabilizer

Kit, with traction bars and full pack Deaver springs for 4.5in Lift using Fox 2.5 elites with Icon progressive coils.

Suspension very solid from commute to aggressive country road driving with Hwy driving very smooth.

The coil ring was at the very top of usable treads, so we decided to try Eibach Coilovers at 350 lbs.

Even though, either selection of coils is good off-road, we feel the truck had more stability with the Eibach Coilovers and felt little like a motocross suspension in the front, going fast off road.

On the rear full pack lift springs acted as expected (Note: All of our Super Duties had full pack Deaver lift springs) which is great, However, when we added the one up off-road traction bars, it made a world of difference. We noticed the rear braking stopped harder, hard acceleration is much smoother and less (hard to describe) rocking when rock crawling. Dave might be able to explain better than me.

Note: If you have a Titian tank the traction bars frame mount would need to be modified (James at The Horsepower Factory did an awesome job with communication with Dave as I understand it).

The Falkin Wildpeak RT 38x13.50R17LT rides great at all speeds and has very good grip on rocky ledges.

Note: Very important to follow Daves recommendation when it comes to alignment specs to get the best ride out of your 2023/24 super duty.

Great breakdown. Thank you.

Did you end up doing Carli’s Deavers, or Deavers straight from them?

I like having the payload, but think I’m going to do Deavers with airbags. I can’t really go any higher due to work garage clearance, so the Carli option doesn’t work since it has a lift.

Actual, we got our Deavers from PMF Suspension and yes long air bags work great for heavier loads.

We needed longer legs for suspension due to the equipment that needs to be moved at times, which are skid mounted, and getting to the equipment is like rock crawling on abandoned trails.
