Mud flaps - OEM or otherwise

Gatorback. Bought through ford. Great product. Flexes in mud and snow
Is exactly what I was trying to buy it’s almost impossible Ford how the Point system set up to be used in dealers only and not online let alone trying to find the right part numbers and everybody I’ve talked to has given me different part numbers for the gearbox for the Tremor Very frustrating

I am using the Ford product installed by Ford. Have had it on some really ugly roads that literally blasted the TRX even with Gatorbacks and another brand before that (went through 2 sets of PPF and even got the paint underneath). My Tremor has not one rock ding.

You have 37s and no issues with rubbing or catching with the factory flaps?

@Warpath what width did you get? Are they long johns?

I have +1 offset on my Fuel Assaults with 37” Ridge Grapplers.
I gave Rek Gen Off Road mud flaps. They did rub a brief second when I was turning and hit a bump going a big fast. Otherwise I love my Rek Gen flaps.
Costly though. 205$ per pair on Amazon. You might be able to go right to Rek Gen and get lucky with a coupon. It took 2 weeks to arrive.
I stupidly ordered 1 pair and then when it arrived I ordered a second pair. 410$ for all 4.
1 set didn’t come with installation clips. They took awhile to be resent.

Do you have more photos of the interior of the wheel well to see how they are mounted?

I got the oem plastic molded mud guards Put them on after the fact. Forgot to order them with the build. Fit great. Looks great
Part numbers for the factory molded? I have searched and come up with different numbers every time. I want the plain black factory molded ones

Don't have them handy. Can't quite read them off the mudflaps with all the snow and slush. I juts asked my parts department for the ford logo molded flaps and they came right up

These are what I ordered and installed.

Anyone have the Rekgen Trophy Sport mudflaps? Really like the simple style of them. Wondering how flexible they are and how you like them. Also, looking for pics of how they mount inside the wheel well.

I like the looks of the Gatorback plain flaps, but that big nasty ass metal plate with bolts sticking through it inside the wheel wells just KILLS it for me

Hello, does anyone know why the OEM rear mudflats have the notch molded into them to allow for mud and water to shoot through?

I was looking at the weather tech flaps and they don't have an opening where the OEM flap does. Might switch over.

Reviving an old thread, I'm looking to order the OEM mudflaps for my 2026 Tremor but all my research indicates the PNs listed earlier in this thread (HC3Z16A550CB & HC3Z16A550DB) are only applicable through 2022. Does anyone have the correct PN for the 2023 - 2206/2027 (Tremor)? I've searched and searched and have not been able to find them. To make matters worse, when you try and order through Ford, even with providing the Vin, and pictures clearly showing Tremor tires, the PNs are incorrect (HC3Z16A550CA & HC3Z16A550DA). Worst case I'll visit my local dealer but hoping the community has the answer.

Husky brand is cheaper and looks better than the Ford mudguards IMO. I think all trucks looks better with something behind the tires., especially if they are oversized. More respectful for other drivers too.

I reached out to Husky, they said their front mud guards do not fit the Tremor due to it having fender flares. My dealer says the standard mud flaps (PC3Z16A550AA front & PC3Z16A550BA rear) will fit the Tremor but everything I've read says the opposite. As many Tremors there are out there I can't believe it's this difficult to verify the correct PNs. I went ahead and ordered the one's Ford says "will fit" (I even entered my VIN) and will post once received and (hopefully) installed. In the end, I might just have to sell a kidney and buy the Gatorbacks..

Mud flaps for me are a necessity. We have remote property in WV and travel 8 miles on unimproved/gravel roads (one way) just to get to our location, and there's an additional 40+ miles that we travel on in and around the area.

I need to get a set too, i started driving a long gravel road going to my in laws, probably close to a mile or more just to get to the main road so something to keep various rocks from peppering the truck especially with my MTs.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered the Gatorbacks PN GCN412K-BK (all black no Tremor or Ford emblem). After looking at the size difference I don't think the OEM flaps would provide the protection I'm looking for. That and the Gatorbacks will clear 37" tires if I ever decided to upsize which was the deal maker.

What's the old saying - buy once cry once...
