Mud flaps - OEM or otherwise

I have set of New OEM ford mudflaps unused in org packaging. These are for non-flare trucks. Message me if interested. Located in CO

So I pulled the trigger and ordered the Gatorbacks PN GCN412K-BK (all black no Tremor or Ford emblem). After looking at the size difference I don't think the OEM flaps would provide the protection I'm looking for. That and the Gatorbacks will clear 37" tires if I ever decided to upsize which was the deal maker.

For those with Ford points, not sure if it was mentioned, but the orange lettering on the Gatorbacks is just vinyl. I was relieved when mine came, shows a black Tremor embossed plate that is not too visible.

Ugly as hell, but these with the net that goes across the middle is the only way to keep rocks off my boats

Totally, the circulating coupons can help. Looking forward to seeing the blank plates, I had them in my cart but decided to use the points. Gatorbacks have been great, added clearance, and quick release.

Have been happy with the Weathertech mud flaps so far. They have survived two winters plowing snow, driving thru and backing over 2-3' snow windrows.

It was REALLY easy. Narrow pieces of vinyl. I live in a warmer climate but it should not be a problem. I did not need any heat. I had no clue what to expect and was very relieved. Did it before they went on.

I ordered the plain black ones from Sharp Truck. Still pricy but well worth it IMHO (I did save a little as I didn't get charged sales tax). We have remote property in WV, its 8 miles of gravel roads in and out. I just made my first trip in and what a difference they made. I have the full length Rok Blokz flaps on my 2022 Tremor (37x13.50 on 20x9's), and I just put the all black Rek Gen Mesh flaps on my new Tremor (37x13.50 on 20x10's). Both trucks have PPF on lower section of the doors as well.

Didn't think I'd like the look of the Rek Gen on my new Tremor, but I think they're growing on me. I'll snap a pic of them both tomorrow.

@Warpath did you get the "Trigger Trim" with yours? From your pictures it looks like it may be installed on the rear. If you had to do it over would you stick with the long johns over the standard height? Thx!

Which, if any, flaps extend lower than OEM flappers?
I’m considering switching if I can get more coverage. Living on a 1200’ gravel driveway, the amount of stones the stock DT tires retain until I hit 50mph is annoying.

There's a picture somewhere (I can't find it now) that shows a side to side difference between the factory Ford and the Gatorbacks. It was enough for me to cancel my OEM order and order the Gatorbacks. The other reason was the Gatorbacks will allow for a 37" tire so I wouldn't have to buy later if I ever decided to go up in tire size.

Ugly yes, but some of these trucks leave the pavement, and things get messy quick. Real tough on the paint.

I had an extra set of RokBlokz for my new truck, but I wanted to try the others to see if I'd like them. If I didn't, I'd put the RokBlokz on. So far, I won't have to.

The RB's cover very well and extend lower than OEM.

I've had rock blokz for 2 years and never put them on, they won't fit with the 38s, been meaning to modify them. May go back to 35's
