Mud flaps - OEM or otherwise

So far the bottom is solid so I have not had dirt or rainy crap spew up on my truck. I will have to measure them for you later. I personally love them on my Silver Tricked out Platinum.

Since these have holes in them, you still get all the rain/dirt kicked up on to the side of the truck I assume? They just block the rocks?

Also, did you order the 12" wide, 12" length? That's the widest and longest they offer it looks like.
I was under the impression that the holes were there for air to blow through. because they stick out so much. The bottom is solid even though it has the mesh on it. Theres solid plastic with mesh design.

Oh gotcha, that makes sense now, the bottom being solid. Thanks for the info.

@Iron Man Ordered the matte black with red "RG" off their website with a 15% off coupon after signing up via text. Came out to $382.50, so not too bad. Hoping the red looks good (somewhat matches) the rapid red truck.

You are going to love them. The Red will look DOPE on your Rapid Red Beauty. Awesome Sauce 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🙏🙏🙏😉

How are the trigger flaps holding up? still happy? Thinking about going with the standard size to help with the rocks kicking up after swapping out tires for 37's.
Holding up good! I'm pretty happy with them.

I have tried both the ROKBLOKZ and the Gator's on my TRX and neither provide adequate protection. Paint damage on the RB's and still hitting the PPF and nicking it up with the Gator's. The order is going in today for my Tremor and the factory flaps are on the build. Will be putting 37's on day one when it hits the ground.

How do these different mud flaps/guards hold up to cold weather, deep snow and light to moderate off road use?
Is it easy to rip them off, or have them pull/twist the sheet metal they are attached to?

The Gators are EASY! See the vid on their site! They are beyond heavy duty. They are a little big for my taste but it was a last ditch effort to keep from getting rid of the TRX. Just got back from seeing the guy I deal with at the Ford dealer I use. Truck is ordered.

Oem I got off Amazon

Gatorback. Bought through ford. Great product. Flexes in mud and snow

No. they flex. its hard up top. But rubber down below. Iv taken it in snow, fields, seasonal roads, mud. no issues

I’ve never had (or thought I would) mud flaps on a truck, but have been researching them for my ordered truck. I think I’d much rather have flexible flaps vs rigid flaps that could damage the body if they bottom out on a ditch or log.

Has anyone ever just made their own from a rubber semi mud flap. Develop a template out of cardboard that fits the truck like you want, transfer the shape to the semi mud flap and cut it out?

I called Ford parts today trying to get part numbers for the gator back with just the Ford emblem it seems you have to use a dealership do use points versus cash online and the dealership has looked him up and order them for you in my case it really sucks I haven’t even seen my truck in a month sitting in the hospital so I’m like neutered trying to get mudflaps for the truck installed was going to have the wife make an appointment to have them installed but now I have to go in to verify the account for the points are a pain in the ass
