OP is misusing the term.
I felt the same. Wanted the interior so went platinum. Hated the tailgate thing but now I like it. Would like body color mirror caps and door handles. Carbon gray blacked out lariat looks pretty good. The only thing you lose, as far as I know, is the aluminum trim which dents if you look at it wrongagreed!!! Makes no sense for that not to be an option. I am in the same boat. My last platinum I had to have all that chrome stuff painted. It would be so much easier if we could just order from the factory.
