INSURANCE FOR FORD HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS

Just got my policy renewal. Little over 1,700 for the full year in MA. But i have pretty solid coverage and things like glass coverage that i believe is required in MA.

Sounds about right. $150 a month for me with State Farm, maxed out with bells and whistles, lowest deductible and multi car.

Location is one factor, but there are a several factors that can affect rates. To really compare, everyone would have to have the same coverage limits. I used to read these threads and think wow, I'm in Cali and pay less than all these owners in other, less expensive states.....no, what I realized is that my coverage is way lower than most, and the premium reflects that. When new I was paying less than $80/month, it dropped a few bucks but has since gone up. Today it's $103/month. All these companies have asked for, and been approved to raise rates.

Making me feel good. $370 every 6 months ($740 annually) through USAA. Max coverages. Might help I insure 3 vehicles through them and have done so for 15 years.

I have 49 years with USAA, no claims in 30 years, no tickets in decades, mine is double yours, I have homeowners as well, something ain't clicking!

My 23 F250 Tremor is $1,834 for the year in South Florida.

Just about what mine is, 90 miles from San Antonio, maybe that's it!!

Just got my new invoice today. After taking online DD course $1216/yr through State Farm. What really isn't right is my wife's 2018 small Benz SUV is $1200 and she took the course too.

With so many of these getting stolen here in Texas and with the state wide 10-20% increase last year I am not surprised that we have higher rates here than many other parts of the country. Oh the joys of driving in a state where 1 in 3 aren't insured.

What course did you take? I may have to do whatever possible to compensate for having my 18-year old teenage son on my policy.

$1000/year with State Farm in the Austin suburbs. $1000 deductible, but full coverage otherwise. It's a multi-car policy and I have home owner, personal articles, and umbrella liability with the same company.

I have many years with USAA as well, no claims, no tickets since 2008, multiple auto, motorcycle, ATV, boat and homeowners, good credit and I still pay more than you haha. I have very low deductibles and lots of coverages so I know I could bring it down some but still, something is whack.

Isn’t it a known fact that the longer you stay with same insurance the higher your rate will be, eventually. They will keep raising it slowly and tell you its the best rate they can give you (even with all the discounts) but the minute you actually switch to a different company they come calling with much better rates to lure you back. Has always worked for me, the lowest rate wins my loyalty.

There are many factors at play and that is certainly one of them.

I wasn't calling you out, I was calling out the insurance companies
Gotcha. Yeah I don’t know where the variance stems from. I even tried to boost a few coverages to absolute max, and select things like rental car reimbursement etc. highest I could get the quote to go was $68 per month.

Wow! And I thought my insurance was high! I live in northern Indiana and just got the rate on my 2024, with maxed out coverage and low deductible it came to $1200.00 per year. And that's with Progressive, and bundled with one other vehicle. No doubt the area you live dictates the cost!

Ask for an OBD2 tracker. State Farm offers a "Drive Safe & Save" program to save 30% but you can't drive over 65 mph 🤪. Be a good neighbor and call today! Restrictions apply.
