FYI 2022 Updated Production Schedule

I ordered on 2/22. Didn't end up getting my VIN until about 6 months or so after the order was placed. I had the VIN for awhile apparently but the dealer never provided it to me nor did Ford as my email was not added to the order
Ok so youre getting a 2021MY then

I'm thinking about raising a fund to buyout delayed orders in Q4. I imagine the rate of return will be pretty great when people entering the market in 2023 recognize that custom orders are taking 9–12 months and there's then zero inventory on lots. Let me know if you're interested in investing. 2% fee and 20% carry. Also ask about the sidecars shorting Ford stock and the REIT buying up bankrupted dealership lots. ?
Another fear I had with our “President“ is inflation , they could cost over 100k anytime. I’m a worrier so I had to buy now.

Unmanaged inflation was set off in April 2020. (Arguably it began in 2017, but was managed for a time. Peaking in 2018 until now.) Nothing to do with Biden other than since taking office he’s doubling down because he has to. Anything he could do to stop it (if anything can be done at all) would be political suicide. Unfortunately not stopping it is also political suicide. The Democrats lose one way or the other medium term. A brilliant chess move by Republican leadership that knew their time was numbered, but that it’s a long game. Brilliant if all you care about is political power and not the security of the country at least.

Anyway, yes, these trucks will be 100k+ by the time we’re ready to upgrade.

Actually "unmanaged inflation" was set off in 1913 with the creation of the "Federal" "Reserve", which is neither.

What does priorty 19 and 10 mean?
Retail orders are numbered 10 through 19. 19 is the lowest priority retail order. Lots of folks get worked up about wanting a priority code lower than 19, but the number is only relevant at the dealership level. That is, if a dealership has two orders, one assigned a 10 and one assigned a 19, then the 10 would purportedly have build priority. As between dealerships, no impact. Way bigger issue is whether your chosen dealership had Super Duty allocation at the time of the order. Of course now with the supply chain problems, scheduling is probably a total mess for a while. My ‘21 was a priority code 19. 68 days from order to delivery (2/9 to 4/18).

If inflation truly takes off that will drive the costs of Biden's infrastructure legacy to be borne by the next generation or two into the stratosphere, not that it isn't on its way there without higher interest rates. Our infrastructure certainly needs a major tune up but our debt load doesn't.

I saw that one. Oddly enough I just got off the phone with Ford Marketing at (800-334-4375) and asked about my order. They said 8-12 weeks from order - no delays on my trucks. Interesting stuff. No vin yet, but was told to call back next week if the dealer cannot figure out how to add my email to the notices. ?
