Fox ATS 2.0 install

Mine is reservoir up on gas, no clearance issues. Orientation only matters for clearance, it’s a nitrogen gas shock, no fluid. I’m running mine on 6 and like the added stiffness.

I installed it with the reservoir up on my 6.7 and didn't have any clearance issues whatsoever. Seeing this say it should be facing down makes me question it, but I don't see what difference it makes.

I guess I'll keep any eye out on these threads and fix it if someone else finds a good reason to!

do the small spacers come installed in the shock or is it all apart I ordered one from Amazon and it seemed used so I sent it back and got one on the way from summit
I got mine from summit and it was all in pieces…..I thought it was used at first as well….LOL….but installed with no issues at all??

Pieces. If I remember it’s two rubber washers, metal flat washer and two spacers. One large, one small.

Well guess I was wrong lol so the little spacer goes on one side and the big one on the other even on a stock height truck?

also do do you guys like it worth the 439 bucks?
I like it alot, took out the wander and constantly overcorrecting to stay in the lane…my truck is completely stock height

Curious as to why the adjuster screw needs to point towards the front.

Obviously for ease of access, but I wouldn't think it would make a difference other than that, towards front or towards back.

Mine is towards the back, only because I didn't realize it was until after I had everything installed. STill easy to get to with a stubby screwdriver.

Made a big difference in wandering. Smoother and removed most of the bump steer. Started on 10. Went to 12. A little too stiff. Ended up on 11.

I am installing this weekend and plan on installing with it upward. I just tried calling them to verify but unfortunately, they just closed at 4pm PST.

I also purchased new bolts to replace the weaker ones. They are 1/4 x 1 1/4 if you are looking for them.
Did you ever end up calling? If not, I may try calling Friday. Thanks!
Also, what’s the advantage of buying stronger bolts?

I haven't called yet. Some are reporting stripping the heads of the bolts and to purchase stronger ones. I know we are fine with the stock ones but for less than $2 in bolts I thought why not.

I don't get why manufactures send cheap bolts with their kits. Tack on another 50¢, I'll gladly pay it.

That being said, I installed the crappy bolts because I was to lazy to run up to the hardware store. They install fine long as you're gentle. I used a 1/4" in/lb torque wrench and gradually took it up to the 12 ft/lb, no issues.

It sits perfectly with the long spacer between the frame and the stabilizer. It seems like it would be possible for it to go on without it, or with only the short spacer, but the stabilizer would be at a steeper angle to the linkage, which seems...suboptimal if you have the choice. Probably worth calling Fox and clarifying. It is odd that it has two spacers and most of us are installing both.

The bolt is nothing special. Standard G8 bolt with captive washer.
