Forscan for 2022

Auto fold yes you can turn on in the screen. There are two different methodologies one is Ford and one is Lincoln. The ford version just plain folds them too often. The Lincoln reduces the times it folds. Quite useful if you are in and out of your truck a lot.
 
Correct, the "Lincoln" version will only unfold the mirrors if you open and close the driver's door or start the truck. Saves you an "unfold" if you just want to unlock the truck to get something.
 
My dumb self did the pcm relearn thing as it was at the top of the menu when I was starting out trying to back up the as-built files. How bad did I screw up? Only ill effect i noticed was that trying to “lock” via the touch on the outside door handle actually unlocked… ugh… I also noticed some things in the BCM plain English said “disabled”, like auto high beams, which were definitely working just fine on my 2022 platinum tremor before my mistake.

Only change I made was plain English BCM disabling the double honk.

Also did this mess up the as built files I backed up since I did this first before saving them?

It won't hurt it, it may have reset some things in the menus but that's not an issue. It just forces it to relearn from the bcm, like the tire size ect. Not much different than restarting your computer.

Good job on saving your asbuilts before changing stuff tho. People like to forget that and cry when they can't figure out how to put something back.

Fyi there's a motorcraft service website that has the codes too. Not much use unless you need one or want to experiment. But if your worried about one in particular look here.

Based off of the above statement I think the asbuilt files were saved after the changes, and therefore would be messed up. :(
 
All it was, was a pcm reset that didn't change anything. Just told it to relearn from bcm tho.

If anything is acting funny I'd check as many of the as builds to the website as you can and maybe disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. But a pcm reset doesn't write to the other modules.
 
Thanks for putting the 2022 spreadsheet together. In comparing the addresses in the 2022 spreadsheet with the 2020 spreadsheet, the address for setting Boot Animation has changed from 7D0-02-01 to 7D0-03-01. I'm wondering what other parameter addresses have changed?

Between the two spreadsheets I was able to successfully make the following modifications to my truck:
1. Removed the three dings at startup feature.
2. Implemented Bambi mode where the fog lights stay on when high beams are used.
3. Took out the seatbelt warning ding for the driver side seat (have a ranch and don't wear my seatbelt when going 5 mph).
4. Disabled the double-honk feature that happens when you step out of the truck with the engine running and the fob is in your pocket.
5. Turned on temperature readout above gauges.

Anyone know where I can see the different boot animations for 2022?

APIM plain english works.... under splash screen. sometimes it take a few key cycles for it to implement
 
ugh, have all sorts of DTC's like this. You are correct reset happened before saving them. Gosh. There are more but many of them are previously set DTC not present at the time of request in many modules. Have I screwed up factory functions on my truck? I’m not tech challenged but what a silly mistake. Lost as to how to fix… it’s not acting funny but all these DTC’s scare me

How did you get the readouts above the gauges to work? I went into IPC and enabled both "Engine Temp Gauge" and Transmission Temp Guage" but that didn't do it....

Is there a setting, whether in the car on-screen settings, or in Forscan, that allows auto-fold of the mirrors only when the car is started/turned off? Unrelated to lock/unlocking or opening of doors?

Not that I am aware of. I actually just switched my autofold off for the winter and will just hit the button if I need to fold them in a parking lot, etc. I have had issues with ice preventing them from opening in the past (my truck sits outside :()
