Comprehensive MPG thread.

2024 7.3 Godzilla
  • 09-10 mpg - in town unloaded, stop and go traffic
  • 12-13 mpg - 80 mph highway
  • 09-10 mph - 70 mph with 6000# trailer

Not towing I got close to 20 for a 200 miles round trip, and I didn’t go over 66 mph. Then I got 19.4 going Jacksonville to Orlando Airport and back.

Not bad
Your hwy mpg is low due to speed. The 4:30 rear is screaming at 80.

4:30 for the Tremor !

Life will be better once I move up to 37" tires

Yes it will. I ran the numbers before I bought my truck and 4.30s w/38s was almost identical final drive to a stock non-T with 275/70R18 and 3.73s. Couldn't have worked out better.

The constant shifting with 275/70R18 and 4.30s pre-lift was comical 😂

I don't have a Tremor but I have a lil dinky 7.3 F250 with 3.55 gearing. I get like 12L/100km on the highway. Actually not bad and a lot better than my SVT Raptor.

I'm now averaging around 10-12 mpg in the 7.3L gas. Mostly highway doing about 80-85 some city mixed in. That is with a 3 inch lift, roof rack with 6 LP6s, 37s stainless works long tube headers and redline catback. Deff not an aerodynamic truck by any means. Like @TellurideTremor said it's about smiles per gallon!!!

Just got back from a road trip to Colorado 2800ish miles 19.3mpg average speed 78mph not bad only real wind was going thru Utah. Not to bad for a 24 6.7 HO Tremor.

I went thru a 2,500 miles trip, from Florida to Maryland, then Virginia and back to Maryland returning to Florida. The computer estimated 20.4. Cant’t complain.

Never seen it go over 16 mpg my 22 6.7 or my 25 6.7 HO

I milk the gas pedal, at the end it was really 21.4, but I rarely went over 75. I did mostly 72 and below because I had 3 grandkids with me. My wife went to the corner store this morning… that thing is showing 19.6 🤣 in just a six mile trip!

Just did 2 back to back trips from Seattle to Pullman with my 2024 F350 Lariat Ultimate/Tremor with the 6.7 HO.

Towed a 2018 Lance 2285 both ways. Trailer is a bumper pull, ~6000 pounds with a frontage that is 10’3” tall and 8’ wide.

Approximately 250 miles each way for 500 miles each round trip. Trip crossed the cascade mountains and quite a few passes for only being 250 miles each way.

Cruise control generally set around 72 mph for most of the trips.

Weather was hot and above 85f most of the ways.

Averaged 12.3 mpg while at 72 mph and averaged 15.5 mpg around 60mph. Large frontage of the trailer definitely played a large part of fuel mileage.

Truck didn’t care that that trailer was there, very easy tow.

Still much cheaper than a hotel 😂.
