Cleanest Super Duty Oil Change

This stuff is made and sold by AGA Tools. Have some of their stuff. The vacuum regulator and remote for the Milwaukee vacuum. Works good. If you want to go all in it’s about $5k. Only thing they haven’t solved is the oil filter change. That part just sux ass. There has got to be a better way to drop the filter and not make a mess. I use oilcatch.ca. They are good but the filter is heavy with all the oil in it. Gotta be a better way.
I don't know the name of it, but a few years ago someone shared a product that wrapped around the filter, it was a ribber/silicon or whatever. You could connect a tube at the bottom and as you spun off the filter, the oil funneled through this device, through the tube, and into your pan. I use it every time and it works well

EDIT: Found it, this is the device - it works well

Not necessarily better, but I use a small awl to punch a hole in the bottom of the filter and let it drain out into a bucket. This does require that you aren't in a hurry.

Love the name! I've been using a breast pump. Works like a charm!

I did that today and it just ran down the awl and on to my hands. Not much room to use the hammer to drive the awl into the bottom of the filter. Probably have to work on my technique.

This is what I have

Similar to the baggie thing but more formalized. We use garbage bags to change the filters on our caterpillar motors in our boat. It’s still a freaking mess.
