This is an old trick… just make sure the wet/dry vac is connected to suck and not blow

I had the stahlbus prior to seeing the Fumoto option. It is specific to the Stahlbus. I just have it in my oil change kit. But yeah, it’s an extra piece you need to keep around. I don’t think you’d go wrong with either one. That's good to know. I may try it on the next rig.
Is the drain adapter thing specific to the Stahlbus? That is something I'd probably misplace. I like the Fumoto because there is no tube / adapter needed
Right o. If I do go that route, I'll get an extra. Just in case. I forget things. Like speed limits, no turn in red, etc. LolI had the stahlbus prior to seeing the Fumoto option. Pulling a vacuum through the valve cover sucked air through the drain hole. That kept the oil from coming out the drain while he hooked up the line.I didn’t understand half the stuff he was doing, trying to pull or suck or vacuum oil…maybe a long day in the sun at the beach i cant think straight anymore to appreciate the mastery.
My last two oil changes i got it down to no spills, so i’m gonna keep on doing what i’m doing my old fashion way.
But did he also hook up some kind of suction line to the oil pan itself? I assumed to get it into some kind of onboard holding tank/disposal setupPulling a vacuum through the valve cover sucked air through the drain hole. That kept the oil from coming out the drain while he hooked up the line.
I do the same thing changing hydraulic filters on my tractor.
Oh, that vacuum. Lol. Yeah, I'm betting it's to an oil pump and on board drum. But did he also hook up some kind of suction line to the oil pan itself? I assumed to get it into some kind of onboard holding tank/disposal setup

they never charge me for the extra 3 quarts (8 qt Total w/Filter)
Maybe they only put in 5![]()
Better knock on some woodLOL
LOF paperwork says 8 qts,
but then again I'm the kind of guy that expects the Dealership to be able to handle a simple LOF Correctly

I used to use a 5 gallon bucket. Thanks to this thread, I now use the baggie. Not one drop hits the floor. This stuff is made and sold by AGA Tools. Have some of their stuff. The vacuum regulator and remote for the Milwaukee vacuum. Works good. If you want to go all in it’s about $5k. Only thing they haven’t solved is the oil filter change. That part just sux ass. There has got to be a better way to drop the filter and not make a mess. I use oilcatch.ca. They are good but the filter is heavy with all the oil in it. Gotta be a better way.
