Carpet Delete owners?

Dealer told me that carpet delete was not possible with the Tremor package. Did y'all have to do anything special to make that order work?
That’s a new one, many on here have it on our Tremors. Take a look at https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/2024-my-super-duty-order-schedule-build-thread.15069/page-214 thread there are some 2024 Tremors posted in it with the delete. Some dealers just don’t want it order the option. When I ordered my salesman was all in on the delete option up but sales manager didn’t understand it and was reluctant to add it. Would have likely been more of a struggle for me to get the option had the salesman not being part of the carpet delete crowd. In the 4 years of having it 0 regrets getting it.

Tell them that will have either delete the carpet or ADD weekly carpet cleaning to your extended warranty contract for the life of the truck. ;)

Dealer / sales person sounds ill informed. AFAIK this is still an option.

Like stated above, your dealer would be misinformed. We ordered our Platinum Tremor with the carpet delete.

I am sure the guys at Granger would be more than happy to take your order, or even a different local dealer.

Carpet delete is the best option out there second only to a Tremor

I have it on my 22 Lariet with Tremor and Black out. Sounds like bologna to me. I regret nothing and love my carpet delete. What psycho goes barefoot in their truck to enjoy the carpet?

I initially had mine ordered as a carpet delete. I was then talked out of it while on vacation with the whole family waiting for me on the phone with dealer. Saying it somehow helped with sound deadening? These guys all talk out their a$$ and know nothing about the product they're selling.

Dealers should require 1 month active participation in this forum to be allowed to sell them.

2024 tremor with carpet delete… ordered it that way and I am so glad I did.. keeps everything clean

No problem with my 23 Lariat.

For those that deleted carpet, how is the durability? I recall seeing someone post saying it wasn’t good. I got the impression it’s a bit thin and could be a problem in the long run. Test drove a King Ranch Tremor w/it recently and it did seem thin. Leaning towards carpet w/my order.

Mine is 1 year/4 months and 12K old and I have no complaints. Wish I'd always had Truck w/o carpet.

You want to put the all-weather molded mats on top of it on day one

So what you're saying is that you still recommend mats/liners?

I'll stick with carpet then plus it color matches the King Ranch interior.

Probably one of the only ones who still prefer carpet yet zero issues with it and she is no pavement princess.

I’m sure if left uncovered it will wear out like carpet or anything else. One should always cover carpet or rubber with quality mats from day 1.

18K miles in 10 months and no issues. The factory rubber mats sufficiently protect the flooring and if those wear out I'll likely go with husky mats.

Not criticism of your choice, but surprised by it given the nature of your work and what I would have expected the amount of dirt and mud getting tracked into the truck. Would have thought you'd gone with the vinyl flooring to keep it easier to clean. Of course you might not care or have already solved this issue in other ways. 🙂

Honestly, I did think about it when ordering but black vinyl does not go well with the KR interior color and I did not want that color mis-match.

The liners do their job and have not had issues with tracking or spilling anything on the carpet despite the line of work I am in.

The truck has been vacuumed a total of half a dozen +/- times since brought home September of '21.

That says a lot but when the interior looks like this, it wouldn't matter anyway :geek:

Those seat back pockets are gonna get all saggy like granny boobs with all that stuff crammed in them.

You're probably right but its OK because that only means I'll be able to fit more as I am running out of any storage room. 😂
