Considering black out packages didn't exist before ~2020 it's a bit surprising to call any chrome a boomer thing. Honestly if Ford would have made the side emblems with chrome letters on a black background I could have been convinced with the BAP but I really hate the 70's sideburns look. I do agree adding chrome side handles, 20" chrome rims, and the chrome mirror caps is completely over the top bling and not something GenX would support.

Definitely chrome! I absolutely detest those tinted window vent-visors as well.

So in light of the humor of this thread, I finally installed my window vents. Call me a boomer if you will (I'm not, but close) but I like them because of the functionality and I don't think they detract from the 'looks'.
