LightGuard Lite - economical tail light protection from OmahaBravo Designs

As with every product I've launched, I'm launching it here first.

Introducing LightGuard Lite, a tail light fastener replacement kit designed to address all the flaws of existing replacement security fastener solutions and provide an economical solution to tail light security.

Why are these fasteners better?

1. Match stock fastener thread pattern
   • Your tail lights can cost over $1800 and these thread into plastic. Do you really want to rethread that post?
2. Low-profile truss head
   • unlike other bolt heads, truss heads have little vertical wall
   • This makes it near impossible to gain purchase with pliers
3. Provided finishing washers
   • these recess the low-profile truss head into a valley making it near impossible for a thief to gain hold of the bolt even when using bolt extractors
4. Proprietary keyed bit
   • you cannot buy our bits at Amazon, Home Depot, Ace Hardware or Menards.
   • How secure is a 'security fastener' if you can easily purchase the bits?
   • Our keyed bits can only be obtained through us
5. Limited supply of each key
   • Only a finite number of fasteners will ever be made for any given key
   • Once we sell out of a key, a new key will be made. Rinse, repeat.
6. Applicability = Decreased odds
   • These fasteners apply to all F-series trucks from 2005 to current, including F150s.
   • Any given key will be shared by F150s and Super Duties
   • With the millions of trucks on the road, the odds of a thief with a keyed bit running into a truck with the same keyed fasteners is astronomically low

The head of these fasteners is only 0.010" larger than the washer on the stock fastener which is what i designed for. For context, a typical credit card is about 0.030" thick (3x thicker).

I built in enough tolerance in the base bracket to allow for this.

EDIT: They MAY NOT fit with the LightGuard if using the finishing washers.

Waiting on the daggum cover pieces to get produced. Was supposed to have rec them Oct 17 but here we are.

Both. I got extra bits for em. One set at home in the box, one set mixed in with the others that are in the truck.

I’m sure I’ll be cursing past me when I have to fish around and find the right ones if I ever need them on the road, but didn’t want to mark them out as different.

I keep mine in my truck but mainly because I'm constantly doing something in which i need them.

I started to post about an idea i had for storage but didnt know how to start to draw it... then I realized... i DO know how to start
