The 2026 Ford Super Duty trucks will feature several updates and enhancements:
• Hybrid Powertrain: The first-ever hybrid option for the Super Duty lineup is expected, likely combining an electric motor with existing V8 engines for improved efficiency and performance.
• Exterior Refresh: Updates include a redesigned grille, revised taillights, and potential new wheel options. These changes aim to modernize the truck’s appearance while maintaining its rugged design.
• Interior Upgrades: A focus on luxury and functionality with leather seats, wood and chrome accents, and a larger central touchscreen for navigation and entertainment. All trims may receive a 12-inch display, similar to the F-150.

I think there's a really good chance they punt on a MY26 redesign given current interest rates, tariffs and growing interest rates. Still a good time to buy a MY24!

I Agree, not sure the updates will come for the 26 models. if you are in the market for a Platinum, I would see if you can find a 24. You get the camera and sensors in the tailgate, the front camera washer and the keyless entry. Not to mention the “standard items” that are now additional costs with 25 models like the pro power.

Considering lead times for development, testing, securing parts supply contracts, etc. I would imagine that whatever changes are scheduled for the '26 model year have already been finalized, we just don't know what they are yet and have to rely on rumors at this point. If someone can find a good deal on a truck they want from '24 it's not a bad option.

I'm more interested in whether there will be a pulling back of emissions requirements in the next year or two and what that might mean for either a mid-cycle change to '26 models or the subsequent couple of model years.

They've already delayed the F150 a year. Wouldn't surprise me if they delay the Super Dutys a year too. Could be they're too far along to cancel it though. I'd get a 2024 if you can find one you like. That's what I did

In the same boat looking at a 26MY but not knowing what coming looked at a couple of 25's but would need to order as I want a platinum Tremor but no moon roof. And I don't see anything listed when looking at inventory. You won't see emissions restriction lifted anytime soon.

I've been thinking about possibly upgrading when they do the next refresh, but would have a hard time letting go my 22', which I still think is the best looking model year.

I am looking forward to the hybrid powertrains; if they come up with a diesel/electric then I am all in. From what I have read, per what CEO dumbass has stated, the hybrid won't be out until 2027. Regardless, I will wait a couple years to let them perfect it.

There is a redesigned center display that is vertically oriented like the Mach E, Keypad entry is back.

I was considering swapping out the 2022 - but I am not there yet. If the 2026 comes out and looks like sex on fire with massive enhancements, maybe I will change my mind.

No one wanted that crappy ProPower at 2.5KW anyway, especially in a SD. Give us a REAL power plant at least matching the F-150 if not better.

One thing to note for MY26.. this will be the first year the SD also to be build outside of the U.S, as the Oakville plant being retooled to build Canadian Super Duties.

Hopefully this helps ease production and QA/QC issues.
