I think you have a small typo here. The hybrid is going to be a combo powerplant that finally settles the gas v diesel debate by putting a combo engine so you're running both fuel types at the same time.

• Interior Upgrades: A focus on luxury and functionality with leather seats, wood and chrome accents, and a larger central touchscreen for navigation and entertainment. All trims may receive a 12-inch display, similar to the F-150.
• Advanced Technology: Features like Ford BlueCruise (hands-free driving), enhanced safety systems, and improved towing-assist technologies are likely to be included

Very curios what the Bluecruise would be like. The f150 folks seem to really enjoy it.

I also think the hybrid could be interesting if it could run the HVAC etc instead of idling the truck, which we keep hearing is terrible for these diesels.

That said, the central screen gets any bigger im going to need a TV dinner subscription and a recliner.

it was on the rental i had while my truck was in the shop. had it a month. adaptive cruise & lane keeping. it would stop for you too, as long as someone was in front of you at the red light or stop sign. you must tweak the steering wheel every 15seconds for it to know you have your hands on the wheel or it will disengage.

it doesn't see anything except a car in front of you & the lane lines in the road. it needs a line on each side of the lane to function.

Ford is definitely selling the SD hybrid in 2026. You will get the hybrid motors in 2028 but the truck will be sold to you in 2026. LOL

I ordered a 2025 in April for an agreed upon price of $76,000. I received an order confirmation from Ford stating that they would update me within 45 days. I have not heard anything from Ford since (almost 60 days) so I called my dealer and they told me that Ford is no longer making the 2025s and that I have to change my order to a 2026 and pay an extra ~$2,500 for the same options. I'm not sure I believe my dealer and this would not be the first time they straight up lied to me. Not sure what I am going to do now (check out the GMs???) but I thought I would at least post the 2026 invoice pricing they showed me in case it is helpful to anyone else here.

While it sucks to pay an additional $2,500 for the same options, at least you're getting a 2026 - hoping any kinks from the previous years are worked out. And while it's peanuts compared to the overall price and the mods you know you're gonna do, I would continue with the purchase, in my opinion.

I thought in past years Ford would give some sort of PCO to help bridge the gap in increase when they cancel a customers order due to the new model year going into production.

I would shop around and see if you can find something on the lot that fits your needs, and at the same time you can place that 2026 order to get it in queue just in case.

It does sound like you should look at a different dealer…

Your dealer is not being truthful. Ford is still making 2025 trucks but not for much longer. You should place a 2026 order ASAP to cover yourself if Ford does not build your 2025.

That video was very helpful! My dealer kept telling me that they expedited my order but I see it was a Priority Code 19. Either my dealer doesn't know what he is talking about or just plain lying. I think I could write a book on this dealer.

It is probably a combination of things. Even with the best possible dealer, you are still at the mercy of Ford scheduling. FWIW - I do no think I ever received a Ford email within their promised time frame.

If the plant didn’t pick up your 25 build then a $2500 MY bump to a 26 isn’t all that bad personally I wouldn’t care all that much about it and get the ball rolling in the 26 I would however at least try and haggle the dealer into splitting the difference with me on the $2500

The dealer ordered the '26 and I just got the email from Ford stating that it is scheduled to be built the week of July 21st. Still nothing on the 2025. As far as I can tell, the ONLY difference between these two trucks ('25 vs '26)would be a stick on keypad vs wired and an extra $2,500 for the '26.
