For any others like me with a new built truck that has spent the majority the of its life (11 days) sitting in a rail yard parking lot waiting for the last 113 miles to the dealer by truck.

Mine arrived at the railyard in Phoenix on Saturday and was unloaded on Sunday. Should be interesting to see how long it sits there before it gets to the dealer. Its a 135 miles journey to the dealer.

I’m joining the club. Ordered a tremor F250 XLT race red crew cab 7.3 this morning. It will be my 5th superduty. Dealer is guessing March delivery. I love the 6.7 but I only pull an 8000 lb center console. My boat is not enough to justify the 10k and all the maintenance on a diesel. It’s much harder to delete a diesel now.

I approve of this decision!

That’s the exact truck I ordered, even the mudflaps. I will remove the orange decals after delivery.
I have been wrestling with that same idea, it was the first thing my father-in-law and I commented on when we saw the truck :ROFLMAO:

I am not a fan of an orange decal on a red truck but I also like keeping things original...

Probably gonna replace them with grey or black decals. I’m not a fan of orange.

Very interesting. Apparently every vehicle is extensively photographed as it comes off the rail cars and the photos sent to the dealer so they can upload to their website and start advertising the truck and I guess also compare for damages during trucking.

My dealer does not show retail orders on their web site unless the customers turned it down. So I can’t see mine. Has anyone seen theirs on dealer web site or asked dealers to email them the photos of their new truck at the rail yard ?

Mine shows on my dealers website now as "In Transit", only pics are the standard ones, not the actual truck. Last communication I had was truck was in railyard awaiting pickup.

Are you referring to the computer generated images in front of the rail cars that are on every ford dealer’s page? Lol

I just checked my dealer and it shows a blank photo but has the window sticker and specs, no photos.

Not sure where in Virginia you are located, but my F250 was shipped out 11/19 and made it to Newport News on 12/3. I was told by my salesman on 11/20 that the truck would sit in Petersburg for at least 3 weeks waiting on a hauler. I was shocked to get the call it was here.
