2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Are you referring to the computer generated images in front of the rail cars that are on every ford dealer’s page? Lol
No, these are photos that are geolocated to the rail yard in Petersburg VA
Seems all the dealers in northern and eastern Virginia have photos of all in transit trucks taken at the rail yard. Interior and exterior.

Not sure where in Virginia you are located, but my F250 was shipped out 11/19 and made it to Newport News on 12/3. I was told by my salesman on 11/20 that the truck would sit in Petersburg for at least 3 weeks waiting on a hauler. I was shocked to get the call it was here.
This is so interesting. Mine was shipped on 11/14 and arrived in the same rail yard on 11/23.
Still not hauled to dealer in northern VA. But another nearby dealer got a black Tremor Lariat ultimate over the weekend that was built the day after mine and on the rail car behind mine.

So now not only do we need to compare which dealers have better allocations, but which dealer gets the finished trucks hauled quicker lol.
Congrats @RiverGnat !!!
Not sure which exit on I64 your dealer is, but if I remember correctly Newport News is about at the 260 mile marker and Richmond is around 202 and Petersburg is about 20 miles south of Richmond. So your truck was 80 miles from the rail yard compared to my 113 miles.

You do realize the linked photo is computer generated from the VIN, right? Sure the background may be at the Virginia rail yard, but they are absolutely not unloading, detailing and photographing trucks there.

I realize that but didn’t want to pop anybody’s bubble. The clouds are the same in every photo. Must just be some perfect weather every day down there in Virginia! One may say that they photoshop the clouds in. Well they are never wet, and the suns always shining on them.

The asphalt is pristine. There is a building in the background, the high lines are too close to the parking lot, no graffiti on the railcars...

I did not compare multiple truck photos to see that the clouds were always identical and was suspicious that there were always pristine Ford branded rail cars !! But the background is at the correct rail yard rather than just a random rail yard. So they are going to some
lengths to deceive people about those photos.

But I guess they should also have seasonal appropriate photos. Leaves in that part of Virginia are no longer green and on the trees lol.

They are not trying to deceive anyone. Lol. You need to take a break.

For Those that have their trucks already. Does anybody know if WeatherTech or Husky floor liners for a 21–22 will fit in a 24?
Similar question here. Weather tech doesn’t show HP floor liners for 24 yet. Truck shipped on 12/2, I’m getting anxious.

They have mats for a '23:

They probably haven't scanned a 24 yet to show transparency - or haven't updated their website. Call them and ask.

Railcars are always aligned exactly in the right spot in relation the the truck, same angle every time, exact wheel turn amount, etc. seriously skilled parking/photography there in that railyard.

I went with Husky this time, they have a free bed mat as well when you order a set, but yes, MY '23 liners should fit perfectly on 24s

Trucks come off the truck filthy, full of stickers and plastic, mess. What would it cost to have a photographer take pics inside and outside of 3 million Ford Vehicles?

I placed an order for a 2024 KR F250 Tremor on 10/2/2024. I received an email soon after stating “What’s Next? You will receive an update on your order within 45 days. We’ll let you know…”

I have yet to receive an email on status.

I know it is what it is and it’ll show up when it shows up, so I’m not going to browbeat the dealer.

I’m just curious if others noticed ford does not adhere to that initial “update on your order with 45 days” claim.

Approximately how long before your first official update was received?

Thanks in advance!

I didn’t get either a 45 day update or the email saying my order was scheduled. Just the confirmation email.
