Just for this round of allocations.Exhausted already for Platinum and KR...
If you are scheduled for a week then they have everything for your truck correct?Just for this round of allocations.
Yes. At least I would hope so otherwise how can you finish it.If you are scheduled for a week then they have everything for your truck correct?
I know. But it's still kind of comical that Ford hasn't figured out their supply chains yet. Granted, I'm sure the strike didn't help anything but they had issues with supply well before the strike happened.Just for this round of allocations.
So we really could be waiting til spring, maybe longer I guess.Exhausted already for Platinum and KR...
Somehow i think the limited nature of that trim is the problem vs supply chain.I know. But it's still kind of comical that Ford hasn't figured out their supply chains yet. Granted, I'm sure the strike didn't help anything but they had issues with supply well before the strike happened.
For folks yet to be scheduled. The scheduling to resume on 11/9, is that for folks that have yet to be scheduled or is that for all scheduled orders (they update all based on current state of supply)?
Oh yeah - this is a very good question. Thanks for asking this. I thought the wording was a little confusing, but I just accepted it and figured I’d wait and see what happens. So it looks like 11/9 could possibly be interesting or disappointing. Could go either way.The scheduling to resume on 11/9, is that for folks that have yet to be scheduled or is that for all scheduled orders (they update all based on current state of supply)?
First thing I saw.Exhausted already for Platinum and KR...
If supply chain the determinant factor maybe GMC is where you should be anyway? Not a poke just a thought. GMCs are easier to get generally for a reason and if it fits your needs then why suffer through this?First thing I saw.
What a mess. Ford and its supply chain issue is unbelievably pathetic given its size and scale of business.
Moving closer and closer to GMC each week…
Fair point. If supply chain the determinant factor maybe GMC is where you should be anyway? Not a poke just a thought. GMCs are easier to get generally for a reason and if it fits your needs then why suffer through this?
This is NOT a supply chain issue at all.First thing I saw.

Says Lariat F350s are constrained. This is NOT a supply chain issue at all.
This is too many people ordering the luxury trims when order banks first open. Ford builds 4% Limited and 5% Platinum throughout the year.
Ford and its suppliers are not going to hire extra people during the fall to handle all the early orders, then lay them off late spring and summer. Steady pace though out the year keeps plants going and employees working.
So until the early rush of luxury trim orders get caught up mid spring, they will exhaust those trims every few weeks. This is also letting buyers know to maybe thinking about a Lariat instead.
If you have a build date then all your parts are there. It may get pushed because of the strike. I was 11/13, 11/20 and now 11/27 and has been holding. Could push again but I think we should know end of this week or next.Wow is all I can say to that list of constraints. How can an f350 in general be limited? I have a build date week of 11/27, originally 10/9, and I’m sure it’ll get pushed again thanks to the exhausted on the Baja interior. I thought they had the fifth wheel constraint figured out since I haven’t seen it on the list for a while. F350 Lariat, Baja, fifth prep. By time it’s all ready to go they’ll just be out of something else. Rant over.
Same I started looking at GMC’s. Sadly… I really want a Tremor but I’m concerned I won’t get it in time.First thing I saw.

I would steer far away from GMCs. They’re having all kinds of electronics issues currently. To the point my dealership service manager said he’d never buy a GMC that wasn’t ‘22 or older. Purchased a 23 Sierra Elevation in December of 22, traded it back in, in May for a new AT4 due to transmission slippage and random electronic bugs with under 8k on the clock. From the week I bought it the AT4 has had bugs out the a$$. Now it’s been in the shop since August because it won’t start, or it will start but it will randomly black out on me. The forward collision system stops the truck at random. The blind spot sensors have ghosts or don’t work at all. Headlights don’t come on half the time. I have a whole list of issues. 2/2 nightmare trucks from GMC. Sure everyone has a lemon from time to time, but 2 back to back with boat loads of electrical issues.Same I started looking at GMC’s. Sadly… I really want a Tremor but I’m concerned I won’t get it in time.
