2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

XLT 7.3 w/ 4.30 gears and the factory bed-liner, sport/premium, snowplow/camper prep, ProPower, and FX4 packages. Rapid red with Baja interior.

Ordered, 9/6.
Scheduled, 9/21 for 10/9. Then pushed to 10/16 then 10/23.
Strike delay to 11/13.
Today (11/7) went into production with the window sticker becoming available about 8-10 hours later.

If we had to guess, how long for this thing to be built? Then shipped/arrive? My ‘23 GMC (that still has temp tags on it) has been in the shop since August and I’m really falling behind without a truck. I expected to get that truck back and just wait for this, but GM isn’t sure when/if I’ll ever see that truck again. And they don’t provide loaners. Should’ve never left Ford. It’s so close and my scheduling has been so lucky I want to wait for it, but winter is rapidly approaching the high peak mountains of CO and I need a truck, asap..

From everything I’ve read, it takes from 7 to 15 days to go from In Production to Built.
If you don’t need to be sent outside for add on like a spray bedliner, it should be ready to ship when built. You’re in Kentucky so it will go by truck. Depends if it has to wait for a full load to go to your area. You could have it before end of month.

So my truck went into production monday and have my window sticker . My truck is getting spray in bed liner . Any chance i will see this truck to my dealer in Illinois by the end of this month ? The other window sticker i seen says convoy but mine says Rail.

Spray in Bedliner at plant instead of dealer will delay shipping and scheduling. But you’ve been scheduled and are in production.

There is a spreadsheet out there that lists the Kentucky plant ramp codes. Many Convoy go by rail first. For instance the ramp spreadsheet list the ramp code on my window sticker as CA2L. The spreadsheet shows those trucks going by rail with Norfolk Southern to Petersburg VA. That location probably serves most of Virginia and eastern North Carolina. From Petersburg, my truck will go by convoy to my dealer about 2-1/2 hours north with other vehicles that have accumulated there.

It goes across the street from the plant once finished to get the spray liner at Ground Effects. That will take a few extra days.

For those like me who’s current tow vehicle is on its last legs or for other reasons desperately need our trucks….

Here’s a spreadsheet created by Phoenixfla which shows many of the ramp codes and the railroad and rail depot city along the way. This was posted on Ford Truck forum.

Wow is all I can say to that list of constraints. How can an f350 in general be limited? I have a build date week of 11/27, originally 10/9, and I’m sure it’ll get pushed again thanks to the exhausted on the Baja interior. I thought they had the fifth wheel constraint figured out since I haven’t seen it on the list for a while. F350 Lariat, Baja, fifth prep. By time it’s all ready to go they’ll just be out of something else. Rant over.

My Build Date is today, NOV 8 , and it has the 5th wheel in it

Mine is being built 11/14. Dealer said they expect it to be delivered to them, prepped and ready for me to pick up around mid-December; so about a month after build date. Not exact and since delivered by rail, it will depend on how far you are from factory and how efficiently they get it from the nearest rail yard to your dealership.

Cool spreadsheet. But the Rail code on my window sticker is not even on their. I checked some of the Rail codes from some of the window stickers others have shared and those are on their. So much be some holes in the spreadsheet. I looked through all the tabs, too. Cool spreadsheet none the less.

I ordered 7/21/23. My F250 Lariat Supercab (non-tremor) 7.3 is still in "Scheduled for week of" status. That is week of 11/13. Last updated 10/28. Still no window sticker available but didn't expect that until status changes to "In Production".

11/06 my order went to "In Production" for 11/13. No window sticker available yet.

As of 11/08 my window sticker is now available (the day after my order moved to "In Production". Seeing the window sticker has made this a lot more "real". Ha.

If you can't get the link to work from your order page, or can't even get to your order page, but your truck in scheduled for production, you can go to the window sticker page directly (like others have said) and add your VIN at the end of the following:

Right I'm looking at that s*** like all the time like it's some kind of lottery numbers or some s***

Seeing you guys get your trucks in production is exciting - especially those whose livelihoods rely on it. Hopefully new build date emails go out tomorrow and we see some Plat or KR scheduled.

They don't spray the beds prior to installation but send the completed truck out instead?

Yep. Unless they changed something in the last year that I don’t know about. I thought the same thing originally when I bought mine a few years ago. It would be faster to have the bed pre-done installed and out the door.
